About This Competition
Double Trouble Partner Competition
This is the 3rd Edition of the RheinGym Double Trouble.
40 teams will fight for a total cash prize of 35.000€
Only teams who have qualified in the official Double Trouble Qualifier 2021 are invited to this event.
There are two divisions in the finals:
- Mixed Team
- Male Team
The event will take place from 2nd - 3rd October 2021 in Cologne, Germany.
On 2nd October the event will take place at Straßenkicker Base, Schanzenstraße 6-20, 51063 Cologe
3rd October will take place at RheinGym, Kölner Str. 60, 50858 Cologne.

B) 1 Minute AMRAP Sandbag Over the Shoulder
Athletes have a 30 seconds to complete a certain number of Sandbag Squats (50kg) + 10m Sandbag Carry.Repetitions are alternating between partners. The Sandbag may not touch the ground at any time. It is also not allowed to put the sandbag on the shoulder, or hold it any other way but in front of the body. It starts with 1 repetition sandbag squat and the repetitions will increase by 1 repetition every 2 minutes
Min 00:00- 02:00 = 1 Squat + 10m Carry
Min 02:00 : 04:00 = 2 Squats + 10m Carry
Min 04:00 - 06:00 = 3 Squats + 10m Carry
Min 06:00 - 08:00 = 4 Squats + 10m Carry
Min 08:00 - 10:00 = 5 Squats + 10m Carry
Min 10:00 - 11:00 = 6 Squats + 10m Carry
After one team partner failed or eaching 11:00 minutes: Starting with an 1 min AMRAP Sandbag over shoulder when the next 30 seconds begin.
Score = Total reps of sandbag squats + total reps of sandbag over shoulder
The round only counts if the squats + 10m are finished!

Lift Heavy
Partner A has 30 seconds to complete a 1RM Deadlift.
Followed by 2:00 min rest (in the meantime the athletes of the 4 other teams of the Lane will do their 1RM Deadlift)
Then Partner B has 30 seconds to complete a 1RM clean & jerk
Followed by 2:00 min rest (in the meantime the athletes of the 4 other teams of the Lane will do their 1RM clean & jerk)
Then Partner A has 30 seconds to complete a second attempt of the 1 RM Deadlift
Followed by 2:00 min rest
Then Partner B has a second attempt of the 1RM c&J
Score = maximum lifted weight of partner A + Maximum Lifted weight of Partner B
Lift Heavy
Partner A has 30 seconds to complete a 1RM Deadlift.
Followed by 2:00 min rest (in the meantime the athletes of the 4 other teams of the Lane will do their 1RM Deadlift)
Then Partner B has 30 seconds to complete a 1RM clean & jerk
Followed by 2:00 min rest (in the meantime the athletes of the 4 other teams of the Lane will do their 1RM clean & jerk)
Then Partner A has 30 seconds to complete a second attempt of the 1 RM Deadlift
Followed by 2:00 min rest
Then Partner B has a second attempt of the 1RM c&J
Score = maximum lifted weight of partner A + Maximum Lifted weight of Partner B
For Time:
Partner A = 25m Sled Drag Forward / Partner B= 20kg Plate Overhead Hold
Partner B = 25m Sled Drag Forward / Partner A = 20kg Plate Overhead Hold
Then:
Both partners after each other Handstandwalk obstalce Parcours consisiting of a slalom, plate pyramid and a agility ladder
Then:
Partner A = 25m Sled Drag Backwards / Partner B = 20kg Plate Overhead Hold
Partner B = 25m Sled Drag Backwards / Partner A = 20kg Plate Overhead Hold
Then:
25m Handstand Walk with a free standing HSPU at the beginning and a free standing HSPU every 5m
Distance can be splitted between athletes, but every partner has to do at least 1 free standing HSPU + 5m Handstandwalk
Then
20 Synchro alternating Pistols and running to the finish line.
