CrossFit Lowlands Throwdown Online Qualifier 2019
About This Competition
The Lowlands Throwdown is open for everyone and consists of an online qualifier and a final on-site event in the Netherlands.
The Qualifier will be held at participating gyms throughout the world. It consists of three workouts all to be completed in their designated order on one day. You have from Thursday the 11th of April to monday the 15th of April 2019 to do the workouts and to submit your score. Spliting the workouts over multiple days or changing the order is not allowed.
After the qualifier we will invite the best of five categories (elite, masters 35-39, masters 40+, teenagers 16-17 and teams) to the finals for a grueling test of their fitness. The finals will be held at Omnisport Apeldoorn in the Netherlands from 31st of May to the 2nd of June 2019. In addition the top athletes in the men and womens elite category and the top team will be invited to compete in the 2019 Games in Madison Wisconsin.
There will be a Scaled and as prescribed (Rx’d) version of every qualifier workout. In order to qualify for the finals all workouts must be perfomed Rx’d.
Refund policy
All payments are final. No refunds or transfers will be permitted, regardless of reason (injury, illness, change in work schedule, deployment, etc.)
Workout release date
The workouts will be released on Wednesday evening 10 April 2019.
Qualifying rules
ATHLETES can do the QUALIFIER workouts on:
Thursday, April 11, 2019,
Friday, April 12, 2019,
Saturday, April 13, 2019,
Sunday, April 14, 2019,
Monday, Arpil 15, 2019.
Scores must be submitted before Monday evening 15 April 2019 21:00 CEST.
Athletes must complete all workouts on the same day, in the prescribed order. Repeating the workouts is permitted, but all workouts need to be completed again in the prescribed order. It is not allowed to redo one or two workouts separately.
Only scores may be submitted that are part of one three-wourkout attempt, performed in consecutive order (workout1, workout2, workout3). Submitting results from different attempts is not permitted.
In principle, the qualifier of the Lowlands Throwdown must be performed at an official affiliate with a Judge. If not performed at an official affiliate a video registration and submission is required.

19.1
With a running clock complete:
15 Calorie row
15 Box jumps
15 Overhead squats
If completed before you hit 3 minutes, add 3 minutes to the clock and continue with a new round of:

If completed before you hit 6 minutes, add 3 minutes to the clock and continue with a new round of:

Stop at 15 minutes
The workout is over when the athlete fails to complete all repetitions within the cut-off time for that round or when the athletes completes all the rounds before the cut-off time of 15 minutes.
The tiebreaker time is the time after each completed round of box jumps.
SCORING
For scoring is workout the total repetitions and the time are needed. The time could be the tiebreaker time or the finish time. On the scoreform you can find several examples.
Our scoringplatform will ranks all athletes upon their workout type (Rx of Scaled), reps and time.

SCORING
The scores for the couples are: (19.1A) the times it took to perform the calorie row and box jumps as a couple and (19.1B) the total of the individual 1RM weights.
SCORE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTION
- For team workout 19.1, uploading a copy / photo of the scorecard is mandatory.
19.1 is scored separately: 19.1a and 19.1b.
Although the 19.1a is performed as a team, all four team members must have a time submitted in competition corner. Please follow the instructions on the scorecard.
The time submission for male and female number 1 is their finish time minus 1 second. The time for male and female number 2 must be entered as 1 second (00:01) in competition corner.
For 19.1b the max successful lifts of the four athletes must be entered separately in competition corner for each athlete. There is no scaled option for 19.1b

The score is the total reps of all the athletes within the 16 minutes time cap.
