About This Competition
Dean CrossFit will host it's 1st CrossFit Competition "Brooklyn Fit Fest" on December 4, 2021. Brooklyn Fit Fest strives to provide the highest quality of fitness through competition, but more importantly we are merging other like minded individuals and bridging communities together through fitness.
Welcoming NYC’s most enthused Crossfitters, Brooklyn Fit Fest 2021 will consist of a 3 WOD competition, Extra Credit WODs, . Each team will consist of two members, with an RX, Intermediate, and Scaled component to welcome various level competitors.
Dean CrossFit makes a strong commitment to giving back to the community. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Brooklyn Fit Fest Non-Organization that provides fitness programming to our Brooklyn Youth!

On a 12-minute clock, with a partner, perform as many rounds and repetitions as possible (“AMRAP“) of the prescribed work in the order written. One partner works at a time. Partner 1 completes a round, then Partner 2 completes a full round, then switch again. Continue in this way for the full 12 minutes.
Score is the total number of rounds and repetitions completed together before the 12-minute clock stops.

Partner 1 does 2 wall balls, then both partners do 2 synchronized burpees (together). Partner 2 does 2 wall balls, then both partners do 2 synchro burpees. Partner 1 does 4 wall balls, then both partners do 4 synchro burpees, then Partner 2 does 4 wall balls, then both partners do 4 synchro burpees, etc. Continue adding 2 reps per round until time is up.
Synchronized burpees require both partners to do the burpees in tandem, with each partner on the ground at the same time before hopping up and finishing with an overhead clap.
