Munich FitFest (SS Buddies)
About This Competition
Munich FitFest will take place on the weekend of Aug 2-3
Divisions will be Same Sex
- Male - Male Rx
- Female - Female Rx
- Male - Male Scaled
- Female - Female Scaled
The workouts will be released via instagram in the weeks leading up to the event.
The competition will have 5 workouts, and this will settle the overall placement. Afterwards there will be a finale workout Where the top x (varies depending on participation) Will Participate.
Standards for Strength and Skills are as follows
For the RX division both partners should be able to do the following.
Be Comfortable with doing movements utilizing a 22.5kg / 15kg Dbell
Cleans 90kg / 65kg
Deadlift 140kg / 100kg
Front Squats 70kg / 50kg
Handstand Capabilities (pushups, walking etc...)
1 Partner must be able to do the following
Pullups
HSPU
Double Unders/Crossovers/Another Jump Rope Skill
Legless Rope Climbs (men)
The Scaled Division is intended for those that want to have fun at the competition, but are limited in one of the other skills / Movements
Expect to be able to do the following
Utilize Dumbells 15kg / 10kg
Clean and Jerk 65kg / 40kg
Rope Climbs (1 partner) (with Legs)
Squat in Various Positions 50kg/35kg
Deadlift 100kg / 70kg
Wall Walks
Jump Rope Stuff (No double Unders but definetely some various options)
Something.... odd, weird... and a bit difficult
FAQ's:
Where do I park?: Street parking is generally available, but no fixed parking.
When shoud athletes arrive?: Teams should arrive between 7:30-8:00 a.m. for athlete check-in. Athlete meeting is at 8-8:15 a.m. First heat starts at 8:45.
What should I bring?: You can set up tents and seating outside the gym. There will be plenty of room inside for spectators to stand and watch. We will have water, recovery drinks, pre-workout drinks and protein bars for purchase inside. Furry friends are welcome, but may be asked to stay outside the gym and on a leash.
What is the cutoff for registration to guarantee event goodies: All athletes will receive event goodies, however those that register earlier may receive more personalized ones (ie names on a shirt etc...)
What if a partner bails?: We only will offer refunds for extenuating circumstances but no worries, just find yourself another partner! The Team Captain (the one who registered all the teammates) will have to go into Competition Corner and change the personal information of the outgoing team member to the new team member. If the Team Captain has to bail, then they must assign a new Team Captain in Competition Corner.
Will there be food?: Yes! There will be food for purchase as well many local business nearby for easy access.

In any race, the closer your engine is to disentegration... the better its performance will be.
Only 1 partner is working at a time here. So send it.... classic you go.... then i have to go... then you have to go again.

For the purpose the all inclusive leaderboard. All womens weights were multiplied at a 70% ratio.

The format will be simple. At the start of the lifting window, weights will be set up, and any competitor wishing to attempt the weight will do so.
After all competitors have finished lifting the weight, the weight will increase and any competitor will be allowed to try again.
Once you have tried a Lift you may NOT try the same lift again. You are not eliminated, you may try the next weight in the progressions.
Having to move through space and being in rhythm with your partner, that is a test of TeamWork particularly when 1 partner is bogged down
