About This Competition

Get ready to unleash your potential at the 4th annual Cypress Classic! 🎉

On November 2nd, join us at BridgeLakes CrossFit for an epic partner competition where you'll push each other and showcase your hard-earned skills. Formerly known as "Rock The Box," this event has evolved into the Cypress Classic, bringing even more excitement and challenges! 💪

Whether you're an RX warrior, an Intermediate grinder, or new to the competition scene with Scaled, there's a spot for you. 🏋️‍♀️ Sign up early by September 27th for $270 per team and secure your chance to compete. After that, it’s $320, with registration closing at Midnight on October 28th.

From heavy lifts to challenging gymnastics, this is your opportunity to shine, bond with your teammate, and make your mark. 🌟 Let’s crush it together at Cypress Classic—where the best come to compete and the community comes alive! 🎯

 

What: Partner Competition (MM or FF)

When: November 2nd, roughly from 8-3

Where: BridgeLakes CrossFit

Cost?: Early bird (by Sept  27th) is $270 per team, after that date, price is $320 per team.  Last day for registration is October 28th.


RX - You have completed the Open RX and compete with high level gymnastics and RX comps (quarterfinals/semi finals)


Intermediate - You can complete at least 50% of your workouts as RX but are limited by high level gymnastics or heavier weights.


Scaled- You scale the Open and most of the gyms workouts, are a beginner with little to no competition experience, or have trouble moving to the standard.

Workouts

Partners will complete 3 rounds EACH of:

  • 1 Round of DT 
  • 15 Chest To Bar Pull-ups

 

Max Synchro Bar Facing Burpees in time remaining from Part A

14-Minute AMRAP - Split as needed between partners.
 

100 Calorie Bike

80 Double Unders 

60 Wall Balls

40 Toes-to-Bar

20 Box Jump Overs

 

5-Minute Partner AMRAP

 

60 Dumbbell Snatches

In the remaining time: Max Calories on Ski Erg

 

One partner ski's while the other holds two dumbbells in a Farmer Hold.

  • You cannot ski unless your partner is holding the weights.

 

 

Partner AMRAP (10 Total Rounds for Time)

 

P1: Complete

  • 10 Front Squats
  • 100 ft Sandbag Shuttle Carry

P2: Rest

 

Continue alternating until 10 rounds total (5 rounds each) are completed or time cap is reached.
