Barbells & Bacon is back for its 10th year running!! & Its going to be one action packed, fun competition.

Barbells & Bacon is a team competition with 4 members on each team. Teams of 2 Guys & 2 Girls will throw down in 3 workouts throughout the morning, testing each strength, stamina, & skill along with strategy & teamwork. This isn't a competition to be missed. Get your team ready!


Registration goes live August 19th. There are a limited number of spots, so don't hit the snooze button & miss out.


Athlete Parking is located in front of the building.

Refunds can be issued up until 2 weeks prior to the event (November 26th)


Substitutions & edits can be made at any time until October 1st

Measure: Max Calories

Buy in: two team members will complete 18 Reps of 100 lb d-ball or 70 lb Sandbag over yoke at 48"

RX - 100 LB D-Ball
Scaled - 70 LB Sandbag

After rep 18 of sandbag the other two members can begin max calories on a ROGUE Echo Bike.

Score for floater will be total calories from both bikes.

Description of WOD 1

3 Rep Max - Hang Clean

Each Team will have 10 minutes to accumulate a total weight for all 4 members. The sum of your highest 3 rep hang clean complex will be your posted score. 

* Atheletes can have as many attempts as they would like. Male & Female bars will be provided. 
* Dropping the bar before full extension on any rep will result in a no-rep for the entire complex
*Clips must be on bar prior to attempting complex. 

Standards: Athlete must deadlift the barbell above the knee and come to a stop prior to starting the complex. The complex begins from the resting hang position. Each rep is counted when the athlete is standing with feet under hips. Hips fully extended. 

WOD 2 (AMRAP) begins 1 min immediately after WOD 1

12 min AMRAP M/F Pairs (Synchronized)

14 SDLHP 135/95 – Scaled 95/65

14 Burpees over the bar (lateral of bar facing is allowed - just synchronized)

**One pair working while one pair resting

Description of WOD 1
