About This Competition

Welcome to the latest edition of our Avada In-House Comp ongoing series.

This time around, we will be competing as pairs...much like the last time....and the time before that....and before that...

This is just for a bit of fun. We will be as inclusive as possible with our three divisions, easy-to-follow workouts (it is easier to follow them when there is a risk of being yelled at) and the promise of coffee after all the hard work is done.

Workouts

For time:
800m Run
*carry your Wallball

Rx - 20/14
Wannabe - 20/14
Social - 14/10


Pretty simple workout, this one.
Run around the block, with your partner, carrying your Wallball. Make sure you get your time when both athletes (and your Wallball) step onto the grass.

This event will move immediately into E2

Rx

For time:
5 rounds of:
12 Synchro Toes to Bar
12 Squat Cleans (80/55)
-into-
10 rounds of:
15 Wallballs (20/14)

 

Wannabe

For time:
5 rounds of:
12 Toes to Bar
12 Cleans (60/40)
-into-
10 rounds of:
12 Wallballs (20/14)

 

Social

For time:
5 rounds of:
12 Synchro Sit-ups
12 Deadlifts (80/55)
-into-
10 rounds of:
9 Wallballs (14/10)

 

Start this workout immediately after you return from your stroll around the block.
Rx & Social - both athletes take part in the 12 Synchro T2B/Sit-ups.
Wannabe - one athlete only required to start working on T2B. Share T2B however you want.
Once 12 reps are complete, move on to the Cleans/Deadlifts. Share these reps however you want.
Do this 5 times through.

Round-for-round with your partner on the Wallballs - so 5 rounds each. When you have completed your 10th round, make sure to get your time.

Athlete One:
MAX Repetition Bench Press

Rx - 70/45
Wannabe - 55/35
Social - 40/30


Another simple workout.
When the timer beeps, get as many unbroken reps out as possible.

Athlete Two:
MAX Repetition Bench Press

Rx - 70/45
Wannabe - 55/35
Social - 40/30


Didn't quite understand Des, you are likely the 'less smart' athlete of the partnership.
Do what your partner did...but better!

(Get ready to move immediately into E5 at the beep)

8min AMRAP:
25/19 Calorie Row
15 Burpee Over Rower


This workout starts immediately after the time cap of E4.
Share the workload however you want.
Reset the rower before each round

*for scoring purposes - one round is 40 reps.
*female teams, if you complete your Row, it equals 25 reps

For time:
110 DB Alt Snatch
90 Box Jump Overs (24/20)
70/50 Calorie Echo Bike

 

Rx & Wannabe
DB - 22.5/15 

Social
DB - 15/10


This workout is all laid out in front of you. Surely you can't stuff this one up?!
Share the workload however you want
Social - you are allowed to step over the box.
Get the time when the last calorie is completed!
