About This Competition
Welcome to the Tri-State Half-Rox 2.0!
This summer's event will be BIGGER, FASTER, HOTTER, and BETTER than ever!
- Spectators are FREE to attend.
- There will be vendors onsite.
- All registrants will receive a care package.
- The top three finishers, in each division (Male/Female) will earn prizes.
Event Format:
- This is an individual event.
- Athletes will be grouped in waves of four (all-male or all-female).
- The first wave begins exactly at 6:00 AM.
- Additional waves will start exactly every 15 minutes.
- Final start time is at 1:30 PM.
- Group assignments and start times will be released 1-2 weeks prior to the event.
- If you'd like to be grouped with some of your friends, just email us with everyones names and we'll do our best to put you together. Matching outfits are encouraged. 😊
- IMPORTANT: Athletes must check in at the briefing area inside the gym and be ready 15 minutes before their scheduled start time. If you miss your start time you will NOT be permited to do the event.
Workout Structure:
Participants will complete a 500-meter run before each station. The run course will be outside. The following list shows each workout station. Athletes must complete the stations in this EXACT ORDER.
500m Ski Erg
25m Sled Push (335/225 lbs)
25m Sled Pull (225/175 lbs)
40m Burpee Broad Jumps
500m Row
100m Farmer's Carry (KB's 53/35 lbs)
50m Walking Lunges (Sandbag 45/25 lbs)
50 Wall Balls (14/10 lbs)
*Alternative: Bike Erg may substitute the run at 1100m. Please let the starter judge know at the time of your briefing that you intend to bike in lieu of running.
Final Notes:
Please review all movements and standards ahead of time. Judging will be fair and consistent at every station.
