About This Competition
It's the ultimate showdown - Box Battles 2024.
Not only wil you be competing for a podium finish, but you'll also be competing for the title of Fittest Gym. Are you repping the red or blue? Will Newmarket make an epic comeback or will Aurora run away with it for a second year?!?

$20/person Participation Fee- PAIR UP (M/M, F/F. M/F)
Registration Opens: Monday October 7th
Start + End event time will vary based on registration

Spectators are very welcome!
Workouts will be released leading up to the event. Both partners must fall into the same division. If unsure what division is right for you, ask your coaches.
Event organizers reserve the right to talk to and change participants division if they believe to be classified wrong.

SCORING:
TOTAL TIME to complete the workout.
TOTAL SCORE FOR COMPLETED WORKOUT WOULD BE 126.
IF A TEAM does not complete the 3 rounds, your score will be 126 - whatever reps you did not complete.
If Team 1 does only 2 ROUNDS, their score would be (126- 42) = 84
IF Team 2 does 2 ROUNDS + 3 REPS, their score would be (126-39) = 87.
Team 2 got a better score.
STANDARDS
BURPEES: Partners must have chests down on the floor at the same time. One
partner CAN wait for the other partner on the bottom if necessary.
PULL UPS: CHIN over the bar at the same time.
JUMPING PULL UPS: Measurement of the bar should be 6 inches below the
wrist. Judges discretion. Make sure that there isn’t an advantage for one team and
not another. The Jumping pull ups should not be rebounding. This isn’t a rebounding
jumping exercise. Head through on the bottom on each of the reps.
BOX JUMPS: Both partners must have FULL extension at the top TOGETHER. One
partner can wait at the top for the other partner if necessary.

Within a 2 MIN WINDOW, EACH PARTNER completes 1 Deadlift + 1 Clean before moving on to the next weight. If one partner can no longer lift, that partner must complete 10 burpees before their partner can attempt their lift. Once both partners have failed or completed all 5 weights, they will complete a 2min max burpee buy out, one partner working at a time.

SCORING:
1 point for deadlift, 1 point for clean. TOTAL OF 4 POSSIBLE POINTS AT EACH
WEIGHT BETWEEN BOTH PARTNERS. If you only hit the deadlift, but not the
clean, you still receive one point. If both partners hit all weight in both
clean and deadlift, they would get a total score of 20.
