⚔️The Battle on Broadway is back! 🥊

Saturday, September 30th, 2023 🗓

This Co-Ed Partner Competition will include Scaled, Rx, Masters Scaled (40+) and Masters RX (40+) divisions.

🤝Grab your favorite opposite sex partner and get ready to put your fitness to the test with some fun workouts! We’ll post them all prior to competition day so you can prepare 💪

💰 Cash prizes to the winning teams 🏆 and some great customized prizes for all podium winners 🏅

Athlete check in will be @ 8:00am
First Heat starts @ 9:00am

*Early registration before August 26th is $159 per team and teammates get a competition 👚 👕 T-Shirt as well as latest/best heat assignments!

**Registrations after August 26th will not receive a t-shirt and will get first/worst heat assignments based on their signup dates

Workouts

21-15-9 Reps for time of Power Snatches.

Partner A does 21 reps then partner B does 21 reps.

Partner A does 15 reps then partner B does 15 reps.

Partner A does 9 reps then partner B does 9.

Score 1 = time of completion

*One second will added to the 7 minute cap for any reps left undone.

At the 7 minute mark, both athletes will have 6 minutes to establish a 1 Rep max clean and jerk. One athlete will lift at a time. Only attempts made after the 7 minute mark of part 1 will count towards their second score.

Score 2 = Total combined weight lifted

21-15-9 Reps for time of Power Snatches.

Partner A does 21 reps then partner B does 21 reps.

Partner A does 15 reps then partner B does 15 reps.

Partner A does 9 reps then partner B does 9.

As Many Rounds as Possible in 10 Minutes of:

10-20-30... reps of synchronized Burpee Box Jump Overs

50’ OH Syncro Plate Walking Lunges (10’ = 1 rep)

150 DU’s or SUs for Scaled*

50’ OH Syncro Plate Walking lunges

Then 20 BBJO Then 30…

*partner must be standing and holding plate above the waist while other partner Jumps Rope

WORKOUT FLOW:

"Stay'N N' Sync" will be a 10 minute AMRAP with increasing reps of Burpee Box Jump/Step Overs each round.

At the call of 3,2,1... Go, both partners will begin 10 burpee box jump overs (scaled may step over the box as long as two feet touch the top of the box). The partners MUST stay together before performing the next burpee box jump over. If one person gets over the box first, they must wait for their partner to begin the next burpee.

Then they'll grab a weight plate and must hold it above their head and perform 50 feet of walking lunges together. If one partner finishes the lunge they must wait for their partner before beginning the next lunge. If one partner gets more than a lunge step ahead of the other partner they will be required to step back and start again together. 1 rep will be credited every 10 feet.

After 50 feet is completed by both partners together, one person will begin 150 Double Unders (Single Unders for scaled). Partners may switch at anytime BUT the partner who is resting MUST be holding their weight plate anywhere above their waist while standing before and jump rope reps will be counted.

After completing 150 DUs or SU's, both athletes will complete another 50 feet of lunges together.

Starting Round 2, the reps of Burpee Box Jump/Step Overs increases to 20, and 10 more reps will be added each round!

For Time with a Ten Minute Cap

I go you go with one partner completing one full round of each set before the next partner goes

12 DB Snatches
3 Shuttle runs 20 Yards down and back
12 Pull-ups all RX divisions/Scaled Ring= Rows or Pull-ups

Next round
12 one arm DB thrusters
3 shuttles
12 chest to bar pull-ups All RX divisions and Ring Rows or pull-ups

Next round
12 DB clean and jerks
3 shuttles
12 chest to bar pull-ups for all RX / Scaled = Ring Rows or Pullups

Next Round
6 Single Arm DB Devils Presses
3 Shuttle Runs
6 Bar MUs

Rx = 50/35#
Scaled = 35/20#

One Second will be added to the time cap for every rep failed to be completed.

Both Partners work at the same time and then switch movements.

A) 1 Min Max Calorie Ski Erg

Rest :30 Seconds

B) 1 Min Max Wall Walk Ups

Score = total combined reps and calories
