About This Competition

Delaware Fit Factory's 4th Annual Fit Fest is happening at our NEW location on October 7, 2023! Teams of 3 throwing down all day in the name of fitness and philanthropy!

  • 3 back-to-back-to-back workouts
  • Teams of 3 (Same sex to qualify for prizes)
  • Scaled and RX Divisions
  • Shirts for all (deadline 9/16), prizes for division winners
  • After party at The Backstretch following the final heats

A portion of each sign up fee will be donated to Hope in a Box, an Ohio nonprofit that gives young adults, who are in unhoused situations or aging out of foster care, boxes of essential items to help them through the first months living on their own.

***Those wanting to participate with a mixed team, or scale/modify as needed, may do so by signing up in the Scaled division but will be ineligible for prizes

***If you RX Open workouts, you should sign up for RX. If you're on the fence... still go RX. No one likes a clean sweep of the Scaled division at a charity fundraising comp!

2) 6 reps at 135/95 (105/75)

3) 4 reps at 165/115 (115/85)

4*) 3 reps at 185/125 (125/90)

5*) 2 reps at 205/145 (135/95)

6) 1 reps at 225/155 (145/100)

 

At the top of the minute athlete will complete clean and jerks then start biking for the remainder of the minute.

While athlete is biking partners must load barbell for the next minute.

Athletes can rotate in any order, but the athlete who lifts must also bike for the remainder of the minute.

If the clean and jerks are not completed, that team is done with 23.2a.

 

***The team with the most calories, regardless of how many clean and jerks are completed, will will 23.2a

***As an extra incentive, 5 bonus calories will be awarded to teams who completed the 4th and 5th minute clean and jerks touch-and-go.

 

Immediately after the 6th minute, there will be another 5 minute clock for each athlete to complete a 1 rep max clean.

Each athlete must complete at least 1 rep during this time. Reps from 23.2a will not count toward 23.2b score.

 

SCORING 23.2a = Bike Calories (plus bonus calories if applicable)

23.2b = Team's Total Weight For 1RM cleans
