Get ready for the 5th Annual Cupid's Revenge co-ed crossfit Competition on February 11th, 2017.

Cupid's Revenge V: Baby Don't Hurt Me is back for 2017! All teams must be coed teams of two, and like last year there will be THREE divisions: RX'd for those who's pairs of competitors who are looking to get all hot and sweaty and end up in a heap on the floor together, a scaled division for those who just want to get to know each other better, and a 40+ MASTERS DIVISION.

We are proud to be having the event this year at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, PA again this year as well! The Nook is the largest sports complex on the east coast, and we are so excited to be partnering with them this year. In addition to the 18,000 sq ft. competition arena, there are multiple options for food and entertainment as well as a beautiful, brand new hotel right on sight, so those of you who are coming from out of town to play can be ready to roll well rested and well fed.

Like previous years, we'll have 4 WODs (ok, 3 WODs and a big lift) with a 4th championship heat for the top three teams in each division, and the team members will have to work together to complete each WOD. The WOD's are both very challenging for all the competitors, but also fun for anyone who would like to participate.

Workouts

8 minute amrap partner burpees. - player one holds a plank (either on their hands or elbows) while player two burpees over. You may switch positions whenever you like as often as you like. Both feet must leave the ground at the same time and must cross over your partner between their hips and shoulders. The score is the total number of burpees completed in 8 minutes.

8 Minutes for each to establish a 4RM Hang Squat Clean Thruster... - The movement starts from the hang - Each complex must start from the hang - Once you begin the upward movement of the thruster, your feet may NOT move - No push jerks or split jerks, each movement must be one continual, smooth extension.

16 min AMRAP Partner 1 goes then partner 2 PARTNER ONE: -20 double unders (scaled/masters may do 20 dubs or 40 single leg jumps) - Carry weights anyway you want to ~15 meters to the bar, Load bar, secure weights with collars - max effort hang snatch for guys, hang clean and jerk for ladies. - Strip bar and carry just the weights back to the starting line. Then partner 2 goes Rxd 135/95 Scaled/masters 95/65 If you cannot complete 1 rep of the snatch or c&j you must still load and secure the bar and dead lift it Bar must be fully dead lifted and then lowered into the hang position to begin, once the bar touches the ground the max effort concludes Score is total reps.

- Player one does 20 Double unders, (or 40 single leg jumps for scaled/masters) - then carries their plates 20 yards to the bar (45's/25's Rx, 25/10 Scaled/masters) - Loads the bar and performs as many hang snatches (men) or hang clean and jerks (women) as they can - then unloads the bar and carries their plates back to their partner and tags them - Player two then repeats, and the team continues to repeat for the whole 16 minutes - score is total reps - Tie breakers would go in order of the teams with more women's reps
