MASTERS LEAGUE INVITATIONAL 2021 NSW
About This Competition
STAGE TWO – MASTERS LEAGUE NSW INVITATIONAL 2ND MAY 2021
Up to 5 top athletes from each Division & Age Category from the Masters League Open will qualify for this competition. An invitational is a one-day event that will be held in May 2021.
NOTE: Attendance and participation at the invitational is expected of all athletes who make it through. If the athlete does not wish to attend, their spot will be given to the next athlete in line.
In some circumstances (family emergencies, pre-booked travel arrangements) Masters League may choose to allow the athlete to send in a video submission after the legitimacy of the circumstances has been confirmed. This will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If there’s an extended lockdown in your State then we will select the top 2 from the current ML Open leaderboard within your State.
Note: (Plan C only) A refund will be offered excludes the T-Shirt Cost of $35 and the Competition Corner platform fee of $4.12.
STAGE THREE – MASTERS LEAGUE GAMES SEPTEMBER 2021
The top 2 athletes from each age group & division from the Invitational event will qualify for the Masters League Games.
The top two qualifying Athletes from Countries outside of Australia/New Zealand from the Masters League Open will get an automatic invite to the Masters League Games.
This will be considered on a year to year basis, where in certain countries a day Invitational may apply due to the growth and numbers of athletes, making it applicable!

1 minute rest between rounds
* After completing 8 burpees over the bar, If an athletes fails to complete the required reps on any of the first 4 weights, they will complete 8 burpees over the bar and then AMRAP Deadlifts on the next weight.
If an athlete fails to complete a snatch on the final weight, they may choose to complete AMRAP Deadlifts in the remaining time of that minute. (athletes may deadlift at any time on the final bar after completing 8 burpees
Score = Total reps completed on the Snatch and any subsequent deadlifts. Any completed deadlifts will be awarded 0.01 of a rep.
