About This Competition

Fueled by success of years 1 and 2, the 3rd installment of Barcode Hosted by Grand Mesa CrossFit is coming Oct 1st. This event is perfect for all levels of athletes, from those who are seasoned to newer athletes getting their first CrossFit Comp under their belt. 30 Teams, 1 male + 1 female in 3 scheduled tests of fitness plus 1 floater workout . The Workouts are challenging and fun for our athletes and fantastic for spectators to view! Find your partner and sign up!

Workouts

8 min to determine max weight for both partners 1 Power Clean + 1 Hang Squat Clean

Will start inside GMCF, the team must complete 1k Row, break up how you see fit. Athlete not rowing must carry a 50# Sandbag. Once complete you will run, with your team's sandbag, to Check Point 1 in front of the CVS, intersection of 2243 and Bagdad. Check Point 1(CVS sidewalk): 30 reps of Sandbag Thrusters (15 each partner). Run to check point 2 with your Sandbag Check Point 2 (on Bagdad sidewalk): 32 reps of KB Ground to Overhead (53#/36# at 16 reps each). Partner not performing G to OH will be carrying the team's sandbag. Once complete run to Check Point 3. Check Point 3: 50 meter Sandbag Lunge, can hand off as much as needed between partners, can carry on back/overhead/front/etc as long as you're lunging, knee in contact with the ground. Sprint to Finish. Judges will have stop watches. In the case of a tie, your completed row time will be the tie breaker. The course is our 1k Loop.

10 min AMRAP, add a rep each round of Wallballs 20/14, Box Jumps (24 inch for all), Deadlift 185/155. Partner 1 must lead the whole 10 minutes. Teams can decide who will lead off.

As many HSPU in 1 min. Scaled is max push-ups in 1 min. To be completed prior to the completion of Event 2

(5-7 year olds) Shuttle Runs 10 meters, max lengths in 60 sec (8-11 & 12-15 year olds) 10 Min AMRAP 5 TTB 10 Wallballs (8#/6#, 10#/8#) 50 Single Unders
