Lubbock SWAT Challenge
About This Competition
This is a one day, CrossFit style event held at the Lubbock SWAT Training facilities. The event will be Saturday April 19th and will start with teams running through the SWAT obstacle course. After that teams will go through 2-3 CrossFit style workouts to test their fitness capacity and grit. The top three teams in each division will recieve prizes and all athletes will receive an event t-shirt and products from our sponsors.
We will be relasing videos of the obstacle course at a later date as well as details on the workouts in the future. Be sure to keep up to date with information on our instagram @lubbock.swat and @crossfitwildwest
We encourage all teams to bring a canopy to set up for your down time between events. All events will be hosted outside at the LPD Range so be sure to bring plenty of hydration, food, sun block, hats, and whatever else you may need throughout the day becaus we will be on location throughout the day.
We will not be offring any refunds for the event. If you need to make a change on a teammate please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can update your team.

Workouts
In Pairs complete the following for time:
Pair 1
27-21-15-9
Sandbag Clean and Jerk (70/50)
*Run 200 Yards with the sandbag before each round
Pair 2
72 Sandbag Thrusters (70/50)
*Run 400 Yards with the sandbag before starting and after the last Thruster
One athlete works at a time in the pair, can switch working athlete as needed. Both athletes must run and can switch which athlete has the sandbag at anytime.
Complete the Obstacles in the O - Course;
Athletes must take one true attempt at each obstacle, if they can not complete that obstacle they will be given a :30 penalty per athlete that skips the obsatcle.

20 Yard Synchro Burpee Broad Jump
20 Yard Synchro Lunge
Max Distance Sled Push In remaining time
*All four athletes must be synchronized on the burpee at the bottom of the rep; They must line back up with the athlete who had the shortest jump. They may not move their feet forward from the time they snap their hip back up from the bottom of the burpee.
* Athletes must hold bags on lunges, work may be shared however needed. Synchronized is at the bottom of the rep. All athletes must pass both feet across the line for rep to count.
* Sled may be loaded as desired by the team each round. Sled will be reset each round by volunteers back to the starting line; Can push the sled however is needed; Only completed 10 Yard section will be counted.
Each team will have two Sandbags (70 + 50) The lunges will be done with them and can be held anyway between the team
Once completing the lunges athletes will load their sandbags onto the sleds and perform a sled push for max distance in the same 20 yard increments. Athletes may switch at any point but only one athlete may push the sled at a time.
Every 10 Yard increment will be worth 1 rep.
There will be a 1:00 minute reset after each interval where lanes will need to be reset
