Are you ready to take your CrossFit game to the next level? We've got just the competition for you! Get ready to crush it at our upcoming one-day 2-person team CrossFit competition, where you and a partner will test your limits and push yourselves to new heights.
Join us for an epic day of competition, where your team will tackle four intense events. With two divisions for both men and women - the RX division and the "You're Fit Too" (YF2) division (typically known as "scaled") - there's a place for every level of athlete to compete and shine.
Our events will put your strength, endurance, and teamwork to the test, as you face off against other skilled and motivated athletes. But don't worry, we've got your back - our A.P.E. mentality means "Always Positive Energy". No matter how tough the competition gets, no matter how tired you may be, always have positive energy and keep moving!

Workouts
A.P.E. Wod
Event 1 will consist of 2 scored events. A 2k row split up to 1k per partner and an AMRAP. The event lay out is as follows:
1k Row For Time (5 min cap)
5 Minute AMRAP of:
3 Deficit HSPU (RX) or 3 wall walks (YF2)
10 wall balls (RX - 30/20) (YF2 - 20/14)
10 Toes-To-Bar
1k Row For time (5 min cap)
From 0:00 - 5:00, Partner 1 will complete a 1k row. Immediately at the 5:00 mark, teams will have 5 minutes to complete the AMRAP. During the AMRAP, one partner will work while the other rests. RX athletes must complete an entire round before switching with their partners. YF2 athletes can switch at any time during the movement or round. From 10:00 - 15:00, partner 2 will complete the final 1k row.
Combined time for the row will be score 1. Total reps performed during the AMRAP will be score 2.

Event 3 will contain a single score. One partner will be in a dead hang from the rig will the other partner works their way through the following:

30 Dual DB Thrusters (70/50)
30 Alt DB Snatch (70/50)
150 DU with Drag Rope

YF2 Event
30 cal assault bike
30 Dual DB Burpee Box Step Overs (DB 50/35) (Box 24/20)

30 cal Assault Bike
During this workout, one athlete must wear a vest (20/14) the entire time. The vest must stay on the same athlete during the duration of the workout.
One partner MUST be in a dead hang with their feet off the floor while the other is working in order for the reps to count. All reps for each movement must be performed consecutively while a partner is in a dead hang. If the partner comes down before the reps are completed, athletes will start back from rep 1 on that given movement. Partners may switch at any time during the movement. But must be done so while one athlete is still hanging.
Lift Heavy Often
Event 2 will consists of 2 scores. Two max lifts (1 performed by each teammate) where the total weight lifted will be score 1. Follow by three consecutive, 1 minute AMRAPs where the total reps performed will be score 2. The event will go as follows:
0:00-3:00 - Partner 1 will establish a 1RM Snatch
3:00-6:00 - Partner 2 will establish a 1RM Clean
6:00-:700 - Rest
7:00-8:00 - Synchro BMU (RX) / Synchro Pull Up (YF2)
8:00-9:00- Synchro Pistols (RX) / Synchro goblet Squats (YF2)
9:00-10:00- 20 ft HS walk (RX) /PVC Over-Unders (YF2)
Athletes CANNOT have any assistance loading and unloading their barbells during the 1RM lifts
For the HS walks, athletes will be required to finish 10 ft increments and can only switch out with their partners after completing 20ft of the movement.
For the PVC Over-Unders, Teams can choose to set the height of their bar at 20, 24, or 30 inches and each athlete must jump over and crawl below the PVC before the other begins
Toss & Jump
This event will be a "Floater" event where your team can complete it any time during the allotted time of your competition.
The event will go as follows:
Partner 1: Max distance medball toss
Partner 2: Max distance broad jump
Teams will have 2 minutes to perform 3 attempts of each movement. Partners cannot switch movements once they have made the 1st attempt. Score will be total combined distance.
