Manchester: Under an hour away!
This event is not to be missed! MaxOut aims to be the best all round competition in the UK. Think competitive competition in a fun and friendly environment. We have lined up an action-packed weekend with programming using a range of equipment that will test strength, power, endurance and team work which will be of high intensity consisting of 4 of challenging workouts.
Equipment included but is not limited to - Concept 2 Rowers, Dumbbells, Plyometric boxes, Kettlebells, Barbell and a Gymnastics Rig with some surprises as well.
The Scaled pairs category is for new/ beginner athletes who want to test their abilities and get a flavour of competing in the main arena.
The Throwdown pairs category is for intermediate athletes. It is suitable for athletes who can complete most workouts to an RX standard but may not be able to complete all movements such as advanced gymnastics and heavier weight.
MaxOut (RX) pairs category is for the more advanced athletes who are ready for the heavy weights and more skilled movements seen within the competition circuit.
MaxOut is powered by METIS (Networld Sports) who are a local North Wales company and will be supplying us throughout the workouts with the best equipment needed for functional fitness.
Podium prizes will be given to the top three pairs in each division.
Which gym will have the most athletes attending and podium winners to take their own podium trophy back to the box?
Both METIS and CNP will be attending the event along with a vendor village which include well-known associated brands that often tour the competition circuit during the year so be sure to check them all out!
We want to enhance the experience for all who attend and chosen an arena that is well resourced with ample indoor and outdoor space for athletes and spectators. Food and refreshments are available on site with hot/cold food and drinks including alcoholic beverages. There is free parking onsite and plenty of toilets! There are a number of hotels nearby and a retail park within walking distance of the arena.
DJ Ashworth Beats will be our resident DJ for the event. He has shaken the functional fitness world up and has been involved with Crossfest, Rainhill, Folders Gym and worked with Peter Hook and The Damned.
MC Simba will be in attendance who is highly experienced and worked with all the best including Strength in Depth, BFMG, Arnold Fitness Games, Castle Games and the Amsterdam Throwdown.
