About This Competition
Welcome to the first LFG Games held at CrossFit Braintree in Essex.
This is a same sex pairs functional fitness competition aimed at an all inclusive 'Everyday' Athlete level. Each pair will take part in 4 workouts throughout the day.
The workouts will be testing but at a level generally seen in most CrossFit/Functional Fitness gyms. The weights and movements are at a RX level for most WOD's and the movement standards will be strictly upheld.
Movement standards and weights.
9kg male, 6kg female Wall Ball to a 10' & 9' target.
22.5kg male and 15kg female DB from the floor to overhead.
Power Snatch 35kg male and 25kg female.
Pull Ups or Jumping Pull Ups.
Double Unders or Singles.
All movement standards must be clearly met or will result in a no rep.
There will be a max of 21 male and 21 female pairs taking part with the top 3 of each category standing on top of the podium.
The competition will start at 9am with Athletes registering between 7:45am to 8:30am.
WOD briefing will take place at 8:30am.
Winners announced with prizes and trophies given out at 5:30pm.

Workouts
12 minute AMRAP
This is an IGYG and Synchro workout.
9 x Wall Balls - 9kg to a 10' target
15 x Single Dumbbbell Ground to Overhead - 22.5kg
21 x Synchro AbMat Sit Ups
Athlete starts round 1 with 9 x Wall Balls. Once they have completed those, Athlete 2 moves onto 15 Single Dumbbell Ground to Overhead. Once they are complete both Athlete 1 & 2 perform 21 x Synchro AbMat Sit Ups.
Round 2 starts with Athlete 2 performing 9 x Wall Balls, Athlete 1 then does 15 SDB G2OH then both Athletes again perform 21 x Synchro AbMat Sit Ups. This continues with Athletes swapping the Wall Ball and SDB G2OH each round for the duration of the AMRAP.
At 3-2-1-Go Athlete 1 will perform 40 x Cleans @ 35kg
Athlete 2 will start WOD 2B
At the 4 min mark:
Athlete 1 starts WOD 2B
Athlete 2 starts WOD 2A
At 3-2-1-Go Athlete 2 will find a heavy complex of:
1 x Power Clean
2 x Hang Power Cleans
3 x Front Squats
Athlete 2 will start WOD 2B
At the 4 min mark:
Athlete 1 starts WOD 2B
Athlete 2 starts WOD 2A
Teams will row 900m for time.
Once Part A is complete, Teams will AMRAP:
20 x Burpee Box Jump/Step Overs (24")
16 x Pull Ups
40 x Double Unders (60 x Singles)
or
20 x Jumping Pull Ups (only)
8 x Pull Ups + 10 x Jumping Pull (mix)
Team will perform 60 Synchro Power Snatches @ 25g for time.
Every minute on the minute they will perform 15 x Synchro Air Squats before moving onto the Power Snatches.
