WORKOUT DESCRIPTION: All Male and female athletes will combined be in one large heat. 

Athletes will begin behind the designated “start/finish” line. At the sound of the horn, athletes will run the loop where the workout is concluded at the “start/finish” line.Score will be the combined time of both athletes.



10RFT: 9/6 Calorie Assault Bike7 Snatch5 Overhead Squat (95/65)

WORKOUT DESCRIPTION:

Event 2 begins with both athletes in the designated start area. At the sound of the horn, athlete 1 will get on to the assault bike and getting through the 9/6 calories. Once the monitor reads the appropriate number, the athlete will make their way to the barbell to begin 7 snatches and 5 overhead squats. Once the 5th overhead squat is completed, athlete 2 will be tagged in to perform round 2. The workout will continue with alternating rounds until 10 rounds are completed OR the time cap is reached.Tie Breaker time will be the time it takes to complete the 6th round.Score will be the time it takes to complete the 10 rounds OR total reps completed at the time cap.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS:

The Snatch- The barbell begins on the ground and must be lifted overhead in one smooth motion. Power, split, and squat snatches are permitted. The barbell must come to full lockout overhead, with the athletes hips, knees and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over the body.

The Overhead Squat- the overhead squat, the hip crease must be below the top of the knee at the bottom. A full squat snatch is permitted but not required to start the movement if standard depth is achieved. The barbell must come to full lockout overhead, with the athletes hips, knees and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over the body. The athlete may not use a rack.

WORKOUT DESCRIPTION:

Event 3 begins with both athletes in the designated start area. At the sound of the horn, athlete 1 will pick up their jump rope and begin working towards 180 double-unders. Athletes may switch in and out as needed to reach the total rep requirement. Once completed, one athlete will make their way to the barbell to begin reps of the hang squat cleans. Athletes may switch in and out as needed to reach the total rep requirement. Once completed, BOTH athletes may advance the barbell forward and add the next necessary weights before beginning the next round of double-unders. Athletes will continue in this fashion until the work is completed OR the time cap is reached.Tie Breaker time will be the time it takes to complete the cleans in each round.Score will be the time it takes to complete all reps OR total reps completed at the time cap.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS:

Double-unders - This is the standard double-under in which the rope passes completely under the feet twice for each jump. The rope must spin forward for the rep to count. The Hang Squat Cleans- Each repetition starts from the ground, the athlete must show a controlled deadlift before in order to begin their hang squat cleans. The bar must be cleaned from the hip to the shoulders in one motion AND pass though a squat. Each repetition finishes with the bar racked on the shoulders and the elbows clearly in front of the bar with the hips and knees fully extended. Athlete may NOT power clean and front squat.

For time:
60 Handstand Push-Ups (while parter hangs)
50 TTB (while partner holds handstand)
40 Pull-Ups (while partner holds sandbag bear hug)
30 Sandbag to Shoulder (150/100)

WORKOUT DESCRIPTION:

Event 4 begins with both athletes in the designated start area. At the sound of the horn, one athlete will hang from the bar, while the other begins repetitions of Handstand Push-Ups switching in and out as needed to reach the total rep requirement. Once completed, one athlete will kick up against the wall, while the other begins repetitions of Toes to bar switching in and out as needed to reach the total rep requirement. Once completed, one athlete will pick up the sand bag while the other begins repetitions of Pull-Ups switching in and out as needed to reach the total rep requirement. Once completed, both athletes will begin chipping away at repetitions of sandbag to shoulder alternating as needed.Tie Breaker time will be the time it takes to complete the HSPUs.Score will be the time it takes to complete all reps OR total reps completed at the time cap.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS:

The Handstand Push-ups - Every repetition of the handstand push-up begins and ends at the top of a handstand with the arms fully locked out, the heels in contact with the wall, the hips open and the body in line with the arms. At the bottom, the athlete’s head makes contact with the ground. The feet do not need to remain in contact with the wall for the duration of movement, but must touch at the beginning and end of each rep. While the palm of the hands must stay within the width of the box marked on the ground, the fingers may extend past the line. Kipping is allowed. The Toes-to-Bar- in the toes-to-bar, the athlete must go from a full hang to having the toes touch the bar. At the start of each rep, the arms must be fully extended with the feet off the ground, and the feet must be brought back behind the bar and the rest of there body. All grips permitted. The Pull-up - in the pull-up, the athlete must go from a full hang to having the chin over the bar. At the start of each rep, the arms must be fully extended with the feet off the ground, and chin must reach over the horizontal plane of the bar. Any style of pull-up is permitted.The Sand Bag to Shoulder - The sandbag starts on the ground and must be lifted to the shoulder. With the sandbag at the shoulder, the hips and knees must reach full extension.

Time that the HSPUs are completed.
