Solent Series MASTERS 2023
About This Competition
Solent series is back for 2023 with a bang! This time we are hosting an EPIC weekend to cater for all ages!
Sunday 25 June will see the return of Solent Series Masters! A same sex team of two competition catering for all abilities.
Athletes must be at least 40 years old and there will be three combined age divisions - 80-89, 90-99, and 100+.
Accessible to all abilities this event will feature 4 workouts for each division.
Workouts and movement standards will be released in the weeks prior to the event.
Headline sponsor Reyllen will be providing some great prizes for all podium finishers.
Movement standards
As an all-inclusive competition there are no RX or scaled divisions. All movements, including gymnastics, will have a scaling option if required and/or reps adjusted. Expect to see standard CrossFit Open movements with the associated RX/scaled weights. The following is a guide to what may be included:
*All dumbbell movements - 15/22.5 (15/10kg if scaling)
*Barbell Squat, Snatch, Clean, STOH
*Thruster 30/40
*Overhead Squat 25/35
*Worm - all movements
*Sandbags - all movements
*TTB, Pull Ups, Wall Walks
*Rowing, Bike Erg, Running

Athletes not meeting the age requirement can register their teams for the same sex pairs event on Saturday 24 June. Go to the Solent Series registration for Jun 24 in competition corner.
Ticket sales are final, no refunds will be given. Athlete substitutions can be made up until the day before.
