About This Competition

Deep End Fitness & Free Your Mind will be supporting the @The38Challenge in their mission to bring awareness and help fight the effects of TBI, CTE, and PTSD on our Nation's Warriors and Athletes. On August 8th, Deep ENd Fitness will be hosting the 38 Challenge Workout.

Workouts

Athletes must complete a timed brick tow for 25 meters. 

 

Athletes must complete a 25 Meter Under Water Crossover.

In order to score, athletes must complete an underwater crossover in the least amount of strokes. The fastest time will also be recorded. 

Athletes must complete a timed 300 Meter Swim (no time cap). 

Athletes can use either stroke method to complete the swim. Scoring is based on time. 

Complete prescribed workout in the allotted time: (25 Minute Time Cap)

20 Gutter Ups

20 Cossack Squats

50M Freestyle Swim

 

8 Bobs

18 Gutter Ups

18 Cossack Squats

50M Freestyle Swim

 

6 Bobs

16 Gutter Ups

16 Cossack Squats

50M Freestyle Swim

 

4 Bobs

14 Gutter Ups

14 Cossack Squats

50M Freestyle Swim

 

2 Bobs 

12 Gutter Ups

38 Minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible)

1. 100 M Swim (25 M Under, 75 M Over)

2. 38 Push Ups

3. 38 Air Squats

4. 38 Leg Lifts

Athletes must conduct a maximum breath-hold underwater.
