About This Competition
ELFIT Juniors is coming back this November to be part of ELFIT CrossFit ® Championship at the New Capital Sports City.
The second edition of ELFIT Juniors will be held on Friday 11 November 2022.
ELFIT JUNIORS; THE REGION’S FIRST OF ITS KIND FITNESS EVENT EXCLUSIVE TO YOUTH ATHLETES
This event is for kids and teens from all sports backgrounds and all fitness levels. There will be 6 age divisions spanning from 6 to 17 years for both genders.
THE COMPETITION IS SAFE & FUN!
- The challenges are specifically designed to test all areas of athleticism for developing youth athletes… keeping in mind that these kids are still growing, challenges will be scaled according to age and ability.
- Athletes will RUN, SPRINT, SQUAT, JUMP, CRAWL, LIFT OBJECTS and most of all, have FUN!
THE CHALLENGE IN A NUTSHELL:
-ELFIT Junior Competition will consist of 6 challenges within each age division that will test the athlete's overall athleticism.
-Athletes ages 6-7 years will play in 3 challenges without scores, parents will be able to be with their kids and help them finish the challenges.
-Athletes ages 8-13 years will compete in 5 challenges that will test their endurance, speed/agility, body weight strength, functional fitness, in addition to a ninja obstacle challenge.
-Athletes ages 14-17 years will compete in the 5 previous challenges as well as strength/power test.

-Youth Boys (8-9) Born in 2013 & 2014

-Youth Boys (10-11) Born in 2011 & 2012
-Youth Girls (10-11) Born in 2011 & 2012
-Youth Boys (12-13) Born in 2009 & 2010
-Youth Girls (12-13) Born in 2009 & 2010
-Teen Boys (14-15) Born in 2007 & 2008
-Teen Girls (14-15) Born in 2007 & 2008
-Teen Boys (16-17) Born in 2005 & 2006
-Teen Girls (16-17) Born in 2005 & 2006
TIMELINE:
- Registration Opens: Saturday 11 September 2022
- Registration Close: Tuesday 25 October 2022
- Login & Briefing: Friday 11 November 2022
- Event Date: Friday 11 November 2022
REGISTRATION:
- Fees: 30 USD (≈600 EGP)
- Platform: All Athletes registration are via Competition Corner
- Capacity: Each division will have a maximum capacity of 20 athletes
- Policy: Registration is on a first come first serve base,
- Deadline: registration will close on 25 October 2022, or upon reaching full capacity

PRIZES:
Medals Giveaways and vouchers are awarded to the top three winners, boys & girls in each division.

We aim to help educate and expose youth athletes to the fitness world in hopes of developing a lifelong passion for performance, health, and wellness.
We also want to provide youth and teens with an opportunity to compete in a safe and FUN environment
ELFIT Juniors is under the umbrella of ELFIT Fitness Events which is the biggest fitness events franchise in Egypt, the Middle East & Africa.

Workouts
For time:
10 Box Jumps
10 Hand Release Push Ups
20 Squats
20m Burpee Broad Jumps
50 Jump Rope *75 Jump Rope for ages 14-17
14 and older - 3 rounds for time
13 and younger 2 rounds for time
Athletes will take part in a shuttle run race to determine the fastest athlete in their devisions.
Athletes will race to move several objects of varying weight and size across the finish line as fast as possible.
This is a running workout for the fates and more fit to win:
Divisions:
8-13 Years old: 1.25KM
14-17 Years old: 2.5KM
An obstacle course for the young ninjas and the fastest to cross wins
