Core Six will be the ultimate test of fitness, mind-set and teamwork. It will challenge the most elite teams whilst also being accessible for all, with inclusive events, no qualifiers and lots of fun activities aside.

Workouts

Each athlete must complete the cross county multi terrain trail run! When crossing the finish line each athlete will be given a place number which must be put into the Event 1 envelope with team name on and handed to Event scoring in the marquee.

  • Each team will take 1 bulldog gear Weighted vest to complete the run.
  • Vest can be shared or worn individually. It can be carried but must not be dragged.
  • Team name must be stated at the finish to check the vest back in.

For time:

9 minute time cap.

On Go:

The sandworm must be held off the ground between waist and chest level - all athletes must be facing the same direction.

10 reps of sandbag to shoulder are performed on each sandbag by 1 athlete, for reps to count the sandbag must be off the ground.

20kg,30kg,40kg,50kg,60kg,70kg - in this order.

  • Sandworm cannot be resting on legs ( no squatting to hold)
  • To scale - sandworm can be held on shoulders.
  • If sandworm touches the floor the working athlete must return to the endzone.
  • After each set of 10 the working athlete must return to the endzone.
  • Rep is complete when sandbag is in control on athletes shoulder and hand is held out.
  • Any remaining reps at 9 min will add 1 second per rep on to the final time.

Rebound Chipper 18 Minute time cap.

  • STOH - No elbow lock out required.
  • Thrusters - hip crease below parallel for all athletes on squat, no lock out required on elbows overhead.
  • GTOH - worm must be in control and touch both shoulders for the rep to be complete. No lock out required overhead.
  • Burpees - 3 athletes on each side of the worm, syncro chest to ground required, jump does not need to be syncro, 2 footed jump is NOT required.
  • Worm must be moved to next section after each movement is complete.

Syncro sandbag squats and synchro sandbag to shoulder.

3 sets - 90 sec work - 1 min rest. 

5 team synchro burpees performed and then 1 team member can pass over the beam assisted or unassisted. Once over the beam they perform Sandbag to squats on any weight sandbag, all reps will be worth 1 point.

The remaining 5 athletes will perform 4 team sync burpees before the second athlete can pass over the beam. Once over they will perform 2 person synchro sandbag squats, all reps will be worth 2 points.

The remaining 4 Athletes will perform 3 team synchro burpees before the third athlete passes over the beam. Once over they will perform 3 person synchro sandbag squats, all reps will be worth 3 points.

The remaining 3 Athletes will perform 2 team synchro burpees before the fourth athlete passes over the beam.

  • Once the fourth athlete is over, the team will then perform 4 person synchro sandbag to shoulder, each rep is worth 4 points.

The remaining 2 Athletes will perform 1 synchro burpee before the fifth athlete passes over the beam. The team will perform 5 person synchro sandbag to shoulder with each rep worth 5 points.

The final athlete must pass over the beam unassisted before joining the team to perform 6 person synchro sandbag to shoulder - each rep is now with 6 points.

Burpees - synchro chest to floor. Burpees can continue while an athlete is passing over the beam.

Beam - final athlete must pass over unassisted. Side sections of the beam cannot be used. 3 burpees touching the beam to modify.

Squat - Hip crease below parallel is the synchro portion of the squat.

Sandbag to shoulder - Hand out and sandbag in control on shoulder is the synchro portion of the sandbag to shoulder. 

For time - 15 minute cap


4 lengths shuttle - athletes must all pass over the beam.

1 lap full team weight vest run.

4 lengths worm Lunge walk.

1 lap full team weight vest run.

4 lengths sandbag carry.


Beam - assisted or unassisted, final member must be unassisted. 3 burpees touching the beam to modify.

Run - Athletes must have a vest on before they will be allowed to leave the lane - The vest does NOT have to be fastened up. You can assist team members with putting the vest on.

Lunge - worm must be on the same shoulder, knee touching the ground on each rep alternating legs.

Sandbag carry - All bags must be on the floor with hands off in the endzone for the length to count.

Teams must pull the Vehicle along the course as fast as possible.

This event has a 1 minute time cap.

All athletes must be in contact with the rope attached to the front of the vehicle at all times.

The clock stops when the back of the vehicle is across the finish line.
