Workouts
20 Tire Flip Jump throughs for time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Description:
Upon “3, 2, 1.. Go!” athlete(s) will flip the tire over then jump in and through for a completed rep. If one athlete flips the tire, then only that athlete is required to jump in and through to the other side. If both athletes assist in flipping the tire, then both athletes will have to jump in and through prior to completing the next rep.
5 rounds for time (13 min cap):
15 Lateral burpees over bar
12 Thrusters (RX 135/95, Open 95/65)
9/6 Bar Muscle-Up RX, 9 Pull-ups All Open Athletes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Description:
One athlete working at a time, an athlete completes all the reps of the movement before the next athlete can begin the following movement. For example, at the call of “3, 2, 1 GO!”, athlete 1 completes 15 lateral burpees over the bar, athlete 2 completes 12 thrusters, athlete 1 completes 9/6 bar muscle-ups, athlete 2 starts round 2 by completing 15 lateral burpees over the bar. This format continues until all 5 rounds are completed. All the reps on a given movement must be completed by the designated athlete’s turn in the rotation.
Workout 2 & 3
In 8 minutes, complete:
#2: Row for Time
2000m Row M/M
1750m Row M/F & F/F
#3: 2 Rep Hang clean
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Description:
Workouts 2&3 happen simultaneously with both athletes working at the same time.
Each pair will be provided with a single rower (set to countdown from the target distance), a single 45# barbell (ALL athletes) along with a max of #320 in plates. If you believe you or your partner will need more than this, speak to your judge prior to starting the workout.
All athletes will begin behind the line. At the call of “3, 2, 1 GO!”, one athlete proceeds to the rower while the other athlete proceeds to the barbell. Athletes may switch as often as they like between the rower and the barbell. If the row is completed before the 8 minute mark, both athletes can work on the barbell station until the 8 minute cap hits. During the 8 minutes, each athlete can have as many attempts at a 2-rep max hang clean as they like, and weight on the barbell can go up and down as needed.
At the 8 min mark, there will be a 4 min transition time before each team will begin Workouts 4&5
