About This Competition

I år kan vi sammen med NOCCO og Barebells Danmark fejre 5. års jubilæum med Beach Games når vi d. 10-11. august kan invitere til vores største strand, sand og vand konkurrence; Beach Games 2019.

Beach Games er en en-dags konkurrence for teams af to personer af samme køn eller mix (- Advanced Dame/Dame dog undtaget). Til konkurrencen træder vi ud af de traditionelle box-rammer og lader workouts inspirere af strand, vand, odd-objekts og området omkring Vestre Fjordpark.

Der kan stilles i to forskellige niveauer;
Lørdag: BEGINNERS niveau (First Timers og Scaled sammenlagt)
Søndag: ADVANCED niveau (Intermediate og RX sammenlagt)

Når vi vælger at slå fire niveauer sammen til to skyldes det, at de øvelser og kategoriseringer, der bruges for at skelne f.eks. Interm. og RX typisk ikke indgår i Beach Games. Tænk færre muscle-ups og mere slædetræk - færre squat snatch og mere svømning osv.

Vi håber I har lyst til at fejre vores 5. års jubilæum med os, hvor vi satser på at tredje gang må være lykkens gang med vejret.

Workouts

FOR TIME | 10 minutter

2 runder:
30m sled drag (70/52)
40 Single KB Deadlifts (40/32) (A)
Hill sprint
40 Single KB Deadlifts (B)
30m sled drag

1) Women og Mens Team må fordele sled drag som ønsket - Mix udføres W - M - M - W.
2) Første 'sæt' af Deadlifts udføres af A uden assistance fra B - og andet 'sæt' omvendt.
3) Hill sprint udføres af begge atleter.
4) Sled drag tæller som to gentagelser (15m).
5) Hill sprint tæller som én gentagelse og tæller først når begge atleter er tilbage ved slæden.

6) Begge atleter skal være tilbage ved slæden efter Hill sprint før Deadlifts må påbegyndes.
7) Scoren angives som tiden når begge atleter står på målpladen - eller ved time cap som 'CAP + xx', hvor XX er antallet af gentagelser udført indenfor tidsgrænsen.
8) Eventet scores op til 100 point.

30 Sync. sand burpees

1) Alt udføres af begge atleter samtidig.
2) Eventet scores op til 100 point.

FOR TIME | 35 minutter

400m swim
4000m StairMaster AirBike
3k run

1) Swim tilbagelægges i baner af 50m - der må skiftes som ønsket.
2) Der er tie-break efter 4000m AirBike for alle hold som IKKE når løb indenfor time-cap.
3) Eventet scores op til 100 point.
