Competition will be hosted at Gardner-Webb University. Workouts will be held in the GWU football stadium and in the CrossFit Gardner-Webb University box, which is located in the Suttle Wellness Center.

Workouts
In a 10-minute window:
Partner 1 and Partner 2 each build to a heavy complex:
1 Clean + 1 Front Squat + 1 Thruster
*Clean can be power or full
*Score is combined total weight*
For Time:
20 Burpees over the Bar
80 Pull-ups (SC: Ring Rows)
20 Burpees over the Bar
60 Deadlifts (Rx: 135/95) (SC: 95/65)
20 Burpees over the Bar
80 Toes-to-Bar (SC: Knee-raises)
20 Burpees over the Bar
60 Back Squats (Rx: 135/95) (SC: 95/65)
Buy-out: 50/42/35 Cal Assault Bike
Time Cap: 20 Minutes
The workout begins with 20 Burpees over the Bar. The reps can be split as desired between partners. RX will require a two foot take off, and scaled can step over the bar if they wish. These are NOT bar facing burpees, they will be done laterally. Once completed, partners will move on to the 80 pull-ups for RX and 80 Rings Rows for scaled. These reps can be split as desired between partners. Once completed, 20 Burpees over the Bar. Once completed, partners will move on to 60 deadlifts, which can be split as desired between partners. Then, 20 burpees over the bar. Once completed, 80 Toes-to-bar for Rx, 80 knee raises for scaled, split as desired. Then, a final set of 20 burpees over the bar. Once completed, 60 Back Squats which will come from the ground, and can be split as desired.
Then, to complete the workout, partners will need to complete the required number of calories on the assault bike. 50 cals for M/M, 42 cals for M/F, and 35 cals for F/F. Your score will be the total time it takes to complete the entire workout. In addition, the time it takes to complete the required number of calories will be a tie break time for the entire competition.
Event 1: “I Don’t Do Well with Running”
4 x AMRAP 4:
30/24 Cal Row (M/F pairs 27 Cal)
50 YD Sandbag Sprint (60/40) (40/20)
Max Sandbag Lunges in Remaining Time
4 rounds, 4 minutes each. Partners will complete the calorie row however they wish. Once completed partner 1 will sprint 25yd out and back with sandbag (may hold however they wish). Once they complete sprint, partner 2 will sprint out 25 yd and back with sandbag. Once they complete sprint, one partner working at a time, will complete lunges while holding the sandbag (however they want), until the clock hits the 4-minute mark. Then partners will begin the next round back on the rower. Repeat 4 times.
*Lunges in place, can step forward or backward*
*AMRAPs start on the 0,4,8, 12*
*Score is total amount of lunges across the 4 rounds*
Event 2: “Love That Journey for Me”
For time:
At the endzone – 10 Synchro Single DB Devil Press RX: (50/35) SC: (35/40)
At 25 yd line (both partners will need to take their dbs) – 25 Synchro Shoulder to Overhead
At 50 yd line – 50 Synchro Alt DB Snatches
At 25 yd line – 25 Synchro Shoulder to Overhead
At the endzone (opposite from where you started) – 10 Synchro Single DB Devil Press
Time Cap: 9 min
Partners will start at the near endzone and work their way down the field to the opposite endzone. The synchro of each movement will be at the top of each movement (top of the devil press, top of shoulder to overhead, and top of snatch). Each partner will have their own DB. They will need to carry it with (however they wish) to each designated yard line.
*All movements are single DB*
*Shoulder to overheard can be done anyway, and for however many reps desired*
* DB snatches must be alternating*
*Score is time it takes to complete, if capped, number of reps completed*
