2019 Apollo Games - Dynamic Duos
About This Competition
The 2019 Apollo Games - Dynamic Duos are here and will be a co-ed team competition with one male and one female athlete. Pick a famous duo and come dressed to impress. There will be a prize for the best dressed duo so go all out!
We have two divisions, RX and Scaled. All teams, regardless of placement, will compete in every event. There will be six total scores that will make up your complete score. The competition, including podium, will be completed by 3:00pm.
Unfortunately we have to limit the number of teams participating so don’t dilly dally. If your team is on the bubble regarding RX or Scaled we would encourage you to challenge yourself in the RX division. Come and have a great experience competing in an exciting and supportive environment.
Choose which division you would like to compete in based off of the criteria below.
RX teams must be able to perform multiple reps with the following movements and weights listed:
- Running
- Rowing
- Assault Bike
- Bar Muscle-ups (at least one athlete)
- Single Arm Push Press (53/35)
- Burpees
- Double Unders
- Deadlift (225/155)
- Wall Ball (20/14)
Scaled teams must be able to perform multiple reps with the following movements and weights listed:
- Running
- Rowing
- Assault Bike
- Pull-ups (at least one athlete)
- Single Arm Push Press (45/25)
- Burpees
- Jump Over Parallette (approx. 14”)
- Deadlift (185/135)
- Wall Ball (20/14)(9ft target)
Please park at the YMCA or in the parking lot across the street. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We are not issuing refunds this year. Partner substitutions have to be made at least 3 days before the event. If you are substituting a partner please keep in mind that t-shirt sizes cannot be changed. Teams can switch divisions provided that it is at least 10 days before the event day.

“Beer Run”
RX & Scaled Divisions
15 Minute Clock:
At 3-2-1 Go! Both athletes will run 1 mile. Once both teammates have returned, athletes will build to a 1RM clean with the remaining time.
Two Scores:
1. Mile time of the first athlete who returns
2. Sum of each athletes best lift
“Beer Run”
RX & Scaled Divisions
15 Minute Clock:
