About This Competition
Seaside Fitness Series
Same Sex Pairs (RX, Intermediate & Scaled)
The team at CrossFit Grimsby and the Seaside Fitness Series would like to invite you to attend a same sex competition on Saturday 26th April 2025. This event is suitable for athletes of all abilities, you will have the option of the following categories:
1. Scaled Same Sex Pair - Total beginners to competition - A great place to try your first event.
2. Intermediate Same sex Pair - Athletes should have a grasp of most barbell movements but may struggle with complex gymnastics and heavy loads.
3. Rx Same Sex Pair - Athletes should expect All gymnastics and traditional CrossFit RX loads.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We are holding an inclusive and challenging CrossFit competition where teams will be tested in Weightlifting, Gymnastics and Mono-structural movements, through varied time scales and modal domains.
Movements may be divided between team mates unless otherwise stated in the WOD brief, for the scaled event we have the 3 no rep rule in place on some events. If a team mate can't complete a moment they must have 3 attempts before changing over to a new team member. This will allow for maximum participation in the workouts and keep the competition competitive.
MOVEMENTS
Below is a guide to movement standards. At least one person should be able to do the following movements. (This list is a guide only and may not include all movements)
The workouts have been designed to be fun, inclusive, and accessible to all athletes, this is not to be confused with easy. The workouts are challenging and will require a good amount of teamwork to come out on top:

RX - Weights will be based on the CF Open loads.
