Workouts

Event 1 - 3 rounds for max reps

3 mins on/1 min off

BUY IN

30/24 Cal Bike [M/F] [MF pairs to complete 30 cals]
15 Synchro DB Snatch [22.5/15kg] M/F

THEN

Max gymnastic reps in remaining time (1 work at a time)
round 1 = Max TTB
round 2 = Max CTB
round 3 = Max BMU

Score = Combined total repetitions in remaining time

WOD FLOW
Bike = Partners can share the calories how they see fit.
DB snatch = Synchro reps. Both Partners will have 1 DB each and complete 15 reps each.

Once these reps are complete, athletes will take turns (one at a time) completing as many gymnastics reps as possible in the remaining time (until 3 minutes)
Once 3 mins is complete, athletes rest for 1 min and restart the process for 2 more rounds.

Each round has a different gymnastics workout.

Event 2 -

For time:

80 Wall ball shots @9/6kg

60 cal rower

40 Deadlifts (90/65)

20 synchro (bar facing)

Time cap: 12:00

Each incomplete rep = 1 second to time

WOD FLOW

Athletes will take turns chipping through the assigned rep schemes.

I.e. One athlete working at a time.

Work your way through the movements until you reach the burpees.

Once at the burpees, both athletes will need to complete 20 bar-facing burpees in synch.

Once 20 synchro burpees have been completed, the workout is finished.

Event 3a - Ascending Ladder

For time -

Squat Clean [70/45kg]
2-4-6-8-10

Wall Walks
2-4-6-8-10

Split however you want.

WOD FLOW

At "go", athletes will begin two squat cleans. These can be done by one athlete or split between the athletes as they desire.

Once complete, athletes will complete two wall walks. These can be done by one athlete or split between the athletes as they desire.

Once complete, athletes will complete four squat cleans.

And continue with this fashion [increasing by two reps] until the round of 10 squat cleans & the round of 10 wall walks are complete.

Once the wall walks have been completed, the workout has finished.

Athletes will then move straight into workout 3b and be able to utilise the remainder of the 12-minute cap to build to their clean and jerk.

I.e. the faster you finish, the more time you will get for your clean and jerk workout.

Event 3b - The Lift

After completing 3a each athlete will complete a Cleand & Jerk [for load]

1 Clean + 1 Jerk
Score = combined weight of each athlete's heaviest successful lift.

WOD FLOW
Once athletes complete workout 3a, they can move straight into workout 3b.

Athletes have until the 12:00 minute mark to complete their best lift [each]

Athletes may make as many attempts as they’d like within the remaining time cap and may have assistance loading the barbell between attempts.

Any successful attempt where the bar leaves the ground before the time cap will count.

The team’s score will be the heaviest successful lift (in kg) from each athlete.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Athletes may choose to power or squat clean.

Athletes may choose to get the bar overhead however they see fit; however, a full lockout is required for the lift to count.
