About This Competition

4x4x48 - 4 Miles every 4 Hours for 48 Hours

During the weekend of March 4-6, 2022, CrossFit Shatter is hosting its 1st annual CrossFit-style 4x4x48; a take on David Goggin’s endurance event with the goal of bringing together the local CrossFit community and making a considerable donation to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. 100% of the proceeds will be sent as a donation. Participating athletes will receive an event shirt! Vendors and other great details are in the works!

About The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

Mental health struggles and suicide affect so many more of us than we know. Because of the stigma around it, so many people stay silent or don’t know where to turn when they are in crisis.  The mission of AFSP is to first spread the message that we are not alone, and that someone is always listening.  AFSP organizes in person (and now via Zoom since Covid-19) programs in schools and other organizations, to provide resources, knowledge, and hope for everyone.  CrossFit Shatter is proud to be teaming up with our member and coach, Jessica Padula, to run this event and provide this donation. This foundation is very close to Jessica’s heart because she has lost family members, her husband, and almost herself to suicide.  Her survival has taught her to do as much as she can to help those who are struggling.  With your help, we can make this event outstanding and join with Jessica to continue the public conversation around mental health.

YOU can make a difference.
