About This Competition

Join us for our seventh annual Battle at the Beach FL! 

We pride ourselves on hosting a competition that takes place at the beach and that tests all levels of fitness. 

We have a variety of divisions and encourage all athletes to participate. Our divisions include Scaled, Intermediate, RX, Individual, Teams, Masters, Teen, and Kids. We will have both individual divisions and same-sex teams of three divisions for Scaled, Intermediate, and RX. 

Movement Standards are as follows:

Kids (8-10)

-Dball (20lbs/10lbs)
-Dumbbell movements (10lbs/5lbs)
-Kettlebell movements (15lbs/10lbs)
-Bench press (25lbs/15lbs)
-Trainer bars
-Line hops

Kids (11-13)

-Dball (20lbs/10lbs)
-Dumbbell movements (10lbs/5lbs)
-Kettlebell movements (15lbs/10lbs)
-Bench press (25lbs/15lbs)
-Trainer bars
-Line hops

Teens (14-17)

-Dball (50lbs/30lbs)
-Dumbbell movements (35lbs/20lbs)
-Kettlebell movements (25lbs/20lbs)
-Bench press (95lbs/65lbs)
-Single Unders
*Be able to go waist deep in a body of water

Scaled

-Dball (50lbs/30lbs)
-Dumbbell movements (35lbs/20lbs)
-Kettlebell movements (35lbs/20lbs)
-Bench press (115lbs/75lbs)
-Single Unders
-Swimming (only two athletes will be required to get in water)

Intermediate/Masters

-Dball (100lbs/70lbs)
-Dumbbell movements (50lbs/35lbs)
-Kettlebell movements (53lbs/35lbs)
-Bench press (135lbs/95lbs)
-Double Unders
-Swimming (only two athletes will be required to swim)

RX

-Dball (150lbs/100lbs)
-Dumbbell movements (70lbs/50lbs)
-Kettlebell movements (70lbs/53lbs)
-Bench press (155lbs/105lbs)
-Double Unders
-Pistols
-Swimming (only two athletes will be required to swim)

*These standards are working weights. Additional functional fitness movements may be part of the workouts for the competition, the above-mentioned are just the standards.

 

All podium finishers will receive a prize. 

Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be accepted towards any registration fees. We will allow athlete transfers. By registering, athletes knowingly are agreeing to the Refund Policy.
