About This Competition

The Battle is a two day, high intensity athletic competition combining the infamous Super Team Cup, Athlete Games, and Saracen Race into one exciting, adrenaline heavy weekend.

The Battle takes place in Kuwait annually and draws athletes from all over the Middle East and North Africa, as well as international athletes from Europe and the USA.

Workouts

The first qualifier workout for the individual Athlete Games division will be as follows:

10 Min Time Cap


12 - 9 - 6

Ground to Overhead (135# / 95#)

Bar Facing Burpees

In Remaining Time Max Calorie Row (Cal)

The second qualifier workout for the individual Athlete Games division will be as follows:

12 Min AMRAP

50 Double Unders

12 Thrusters (95/65)

12 C2B Pull-ups


-- At the 12 minute mark the athlete will rest for 2 minutes and at the 14 minute mark the Athlete will have 6 minutes to establish a 1rep max clean and jerk. --


6 Min to Establish 1RM

Clean and Jerk


*Score is Reps Completed (Part A) + 1 RM (Part B)

Part B score will be entered into Qualifier 2 (Part B)

Part B of the second qualifier workout for the individual Athlete Games division will be as follows:

At the 14 minute mark the Athlete will have 6 minutes to establish a 1rep max clean and jerk. --

Clean and Jerk

The final qualifier workout for the individual Athlete Games division will be as follows:

8 Min AMRAP

21 Wall Balls (20/14) (10’/9’)
