Perth's best triple’s CrossFit competition! Back again this year for our 3rd year running!

Description: Sagitta Triples is a one day comp for teams of 3 females or 3 males.

Venue: Byford Senior High School

Wod 2 and 2a

Athletes start behind the line and on the call of 3,2,1, go…. 1 Athlete proceeds to the bar and does as many clean and jerks as they wish. To swap out they must run back to the start line and tag the next person in. When all 45 reps of the first load are completed one person can change the weights and then continue to complete reps like this until all reps and loads are completed. If all reps are completed in the time cap then the team can rest the remainder of the time before they start the max clean and jerk at 11:00.

All the team members can stand by the lifting area and assist in changing plates. Each member will be required to lift a maximum clean and jerk. A full-depth squat is required for the clean and the jerk can be a split jerk or push jerk.

Athletes start behind the line and on the call of 3,2,1, go…. Athlete number 1 proceeds to the Deadball and completes 3 deadballs over the shoulder followed by a 7m handstand walk. As soon as athlete 1 has started the handstand walk, athlete 2 can start the deadball over shoulder. Athletes can continue this way moving as soon as the athlete in front has cleared the required work. Teams can switch order if they wish so as to share the deadball lunges or they can remain in the same order. Once the team has worked through 3 rounds of the buy-in. They can start to chip away through the T2B. T2B will be done by 2 athletes in syncro. Each 10 reps one team member must move the checker piece up the lane before work can continue. athletes can swap in and out as they wish. Once all reps are completed team will repeat then buy in/out ans then cross the line to finish.

Athletes start behind the line and on the call of 3,2,1, go…. 3 athletes run towards the rig towards the 3 kettlebells. Athletes may be in any order but have to squat in a line formation all in the same direction facing the crowd. Every 10 reps the team step forward 1m. Synchronisation is achieved when all 3 athletes initiate the squat together and show control in the lockout of the KB above their heads.

Movement 1, 2 or 3 can be done by any person swapping out whenever they wish however only one person can be at the rig, the other 2 must remain at their KB with it rested on their shoulder and can only swap when the 3rd member returns from the rig and has picked up their kettlebell.

Once all reps are completed all athletes must cross the line with their KBs to finish.
