About This Competition
ERG MANIA - 23RD NOVEMBER 2024 - APEX ABILITY GYM, DURHAM
We are excited to bring to you the second APEX COMPETE ERG MANIA event! ERG MANIA is a team fitness challenge using 3 different ERG machines in an attempt to accumulate the greatest distance within a set time period.

Saturday 23rd November 2024 from 9am.

THE EVENT
The competition will start at 9am and will see 9 teams starting on the C2 RowErg's, 9 teams starting on the C2 SkiErg's and 9 teams starting on the C2 BikeErg's. Each team will have 2 hrs on each piece of equipment in an attempt to accumulate the greatest distance. There will be an enforced athlete rotation format every 60 seconds for the first 90 minutes of each 2hr block (M,F,M,F,M,F) but after that its down to team tactics. There will be a 10 minute break after every 2 hrs of work for score collection and for team rotation to the next piece of equipment.
The order of equipment will be SKI, ROW, BIKE.
PRIZES
1st Place - £2400
2nd Place - £1200
3rd Place - £900
RAFFLE PRIZE
All teams that accumulate over 140,000m excluding the podium teams will be entered into a raffle to win £600.
BRIEFING
Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the event and warm up in their assigned starting grid. Athletes should enter the facility packed as light as possible due to facility size. One bag per team for your water bottles and sweat towels. There will be a live DJ and MC.

£450 per team (£75 per athlete)
