Do More Charity Challenge 2024
About This Competition
The 2024 Do More Charity Challenge - Throwdown is on September 14, 2024 at CrossFit Crusade in Castle Rock, Colorado.
4 athletes per team comprised of men and women
*Must be an equal mix of men and women
*Cumulative ages must be average of 35 years of age (RX only)
1 Fundraising Event and 3 Workouts that will count toward total team score.
4 scores in total.
Scoring will be based on a point placement system. All events are equally weighted and the team with the lowest cumulative number of placements across all 4 scored events will win. Every team will win a portion of the prize pool along with 100% of the funds their team raises for the charity of their choice.
Push yourself to the limits against fellow RX athletes in the competitive RX Division. For non-RX athletes, register for the Scaled Division to compete at a recreational level for your charity of choice. The Do More Charity Challenge is powered by you, so put your passion for physical fitness and your passion for charity to work.
All teams who fundraise and complete the competition will walk away with a portion of the prize pool for their chosen charity.
There are some fun, creative ways to raise money for your
charity including silent auctions, garage sales, car washes, etc.
There are no restrictions on how you raise your money, and remember, the first scored event is how much money each team raised for its charity.
After you have registered your team, we will get your team name added to the fundraising site, then you can start donating to your team's fund. Share the link with friends and family to have them donate funds as well.
The fundraising competition will end at 11:59 pm MT on September 12, 2024.

DUE TO OUR PARKING LIMITATIONS, THERE WILL BE OFFSITE PARKING FOR ATHLETES AND SPECTATORS TO USE.
*Charities must serve communities in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Utah, Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, or Wyoming. Limit one RX team per non-profit organization.

10 Box Jump Overs
*During the 7:00 window, athletes will alternate full movements, completing 10 reps of that movement before switching. Athlete A will complete the squats, then Athlete B will do the toes to bar, back to Athlete A for the box jump overs. Athlete B will then start round 2 with the squats. Continuing in this fashion.

*During the 5:00 window, athletes will complete a total of 35 calories for men, or 25 calories for women. During the bike, the other partner must be holding a KB farmer's hold. Athletes can switch whenever they see fit, but the KB farmer's hold must be established before the partner can begin biking again. After the bike is completed, each pair will get their own station for wall walks. One partner working at a time on the wall walks.

Athletes can switch whenever they see fit, but the KB farmer's hold must be established before the partner can begin biking again. After the bike is completed, athletes will move right into the burpees. One partner working at a time.

During the run teams will carry two 25lb sandbags. Sandbags are allowed to be handed off amongst teammates as needed. But only ONE ATHLETE CAN CARRY ONE SANDBAG AT A TIME. MULTIPLE ATHLETES CANNOT CARRY ONE SANDBAG. You are allowed to set down the sandbags during transitions if needed, but please be considerate of our equipment.
*All four athletes will run the total distance together at the same time. The course will be an "out and back", meaning all four athletes and the sandbags must cross the halfway point before turning around. Time will stop when ALL FOUR athletes, and the sandbags cross the finish/starting line.
Sandbag Weight: 25#
Course Distance: 1,200m
THIS WORKOUT WILL BE DONE AS A TEAM, ALL MEMBERS WORKING AT THE SAME TIME.
SCORE WILL BE TOTAL TIME. TAKEN AS SOON AS THE LAST TEAM MEMBER STEPS OVER THE LINE.
