FITTEST IN THE COALFIELDS is back for 2023!
Moranbah CrossFit will be hosting our annual M/F pairs competition on September 9th with RX, intermediate & scaled divisions.
Join in for a fun day of friendly competition at our unique outdoor box!
Accommodating all fitness levels, so find your partner and sign-up - registrations opening May 8th!

Frequently Asked Questions
COVID-19
The event organisers will be following the QLD Governments industry COVID Safe Event Checklist and guidelines.
The event will be held outdoors, however participants and spectators will be capped if necessary.
Refunds & Athlete Changes
There will be no refunds on registrations
In the event an athlete is unable to compete, you may sub in other athletes however we must be notified via email prior to the event at moranbahxfit@live.com.
New team members will need to complete a waiver on the day before competing.
Will the workouts/workout standards be released prior to the event?
Workout standards have been released with registration to assist participants with selecting a division.
Workouts will be announced on the day.
Where is event located?
The event is held at Moranbah CrossFit:
Eastern Sporting Fields Complex
Flinders Drive, Moranbah
Will there be food and drink available to purchase?
Yes!
The bbq/kitchen area will be run a majority of the day serving breakfast and lunch options.
There will also be coffee and food vans set-up during the day.
Other food options are available through-out town, just a short 5min drive from the venue.
Water and FitAid will be available for purchase through Moranbah CrossFit and water bottle re-fill stations.
Parking
There is parking available surrounding the venue.
What shoud we bring with us?
As the event is held outside next to the sporting fields, there will be plenty of room to set-up. Things to bring:
- Tent/Gazebo
- Chairs
- Water/food/snacks
- Required Workout gear e.g. grips, shoes (runners and training shoes), skipping rope
- Hat/Sunnies/Sunscreen

Workouts
10min AMRAP
As many rounds and reps as possible of metres on bike & burpee sandbag over the hay bale
Partner 1 starts on the bike while partner 2 is doing burpee sandbag over the hay bale.
Switch each time partner on bike finishes a lap.
60-40-20 - Reps split between athletes.
