About This Competition
2022 Memorial Day Challenge (Murph)
We are excited to bring back another year of the Outdoor Memorial Day "Murph' event!
This year we will be in Long Lake, MN again (just a couple miles west of Wayzata)!
Choose a division and sign up now to reserve your spot! We do expect some divisions to fill up, so be sure to get your spot reserved!
Looking to Volunteer (also ... you can participate AND volunteer)! We would SO appreciate the help! You can either sign up here (see button on upper right side under registration) or fill out the form on our website HERE.
Choose Your Division:
Male Elite - Full workout completed with 20# vest. Suggested time: 40 mins - 55 mins.
Female Elite - Full workout completed with 14# vest. Suggested time: 48 - 65 mins
Male RX - Full workout completed RX (no vest required, but allowed!)
Female RX - Full workout completed RX (no vest required, but allowed!)
Male Scaled - Movements may be scaled as needed (jumping pull-ups, bands, knee pushups, etc). Both runs will still be 1 mile each.

Teams of 2 RX: BOTH members run BOTH miles together, split pull-ups/pushups/squats as desired to equal 100/200/300 TOTAL, athletes will work at same time. Movements done to RX standard (no vest required).
Teams of 2 Scaled: BOTH members run BOTH miles together, split pull-ups/pushups/squats as desired to equal 100/200/300 TOTAL, working at same time. Movements may be scaled as necessary by one or both partners.
Parent / Child: 1/2 mile run to start, then parent & child split 50/100/150 however desired, working at same time, scaling as much as needed, 1/2 mile run to finish. Kids must be 15 or younger.
Kids (ages 6 - 14): 1/2 mile run, 25 pull-ups, 50 pushups, 75 squats (scaled as needed), 1/2 mile run
MnFire Firefighter's Heat: If you are a fire fighter, we'd love to have you enter this division created in conjunction with our 2022 partner, MnFire! You can choose to do this in your gear or not, and as written or scaled as much as needed.
