BLUE LIGHT THROWDOWN - Online Qualification
About This Competition
HONOR OUR HEROES!
BLUE LIGHT THROWDOWN * is a functional fitness team competition for First Responders including Police, Medical, Fire and Military Forces.
At least 200 Athletes will compete in PAIRS (only 1 teammate must be a First Responder) of either same or mixed gender.
For more specific division information, please visit the registration form.
Registration is LIVE and runs until 24th of April.
Online Qualification will contain 3 workouts done individually.
Online Qualification workouts will be announced from 24th of February until 14th of March (one week - one workout). These Workouts will be Crossfit Open Workouts and scores may be submitted until 24th of April. Score for the workouts is both athlete score combined together.
Online Qualification Registration fee is 20 Euro per Team. Final Event Registration fee is 85 Euro per Team.
Online Qualification workouts may include similar movements as the Final Event.
Final Event may include movements like:
Gymnastic Movements:
Pull ups (different versions)
Push ups (different versions)
Toes to Bar oder Knee, Leg Rises
Weightlifting Movements (Kettlebell, Barbell, Dumbell):
Squat (Single leg squats, Air Squat, Front Squat, Back Squat, Wall Balls)
Deadlift (Barbell, Dumbell, Kettlebell)
Shoulder to Overhead - different versions (Press, Push Press)
Clean and Snatch (different versions)
Madball and Slamball exercises
Endurance Movements:
Assault Bike
Row
Run
SkiErg
Box Jumps
Burpees (different versions)
Final Event will be on Sunday the 19th of June, 2022. It will be a one day event with max 4 workouts throughout the day.

* To register your team, at least one athlete must have a valid First Responder ID Card.
