About This Competition

For the first time ever, in 2021, Legends will launch REGIONAL events in four US locations plus Australia. These events will qualify athletes in each MASTERS age division to the LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP. 

To earn a spot for the 2021 Championship you must sign up for the CrossFit Open and then choose and sign up for a Legends Regional. Hurry, as spots will go fast.

LEGENDS SOUTHEAST REGIONAL will be at Zanshin Fitness  in sunny Peachtree Corners Ga. The event will run July 9-11 and include at least 6 workouts. 

Male and female athlete spots are available for Georgia in each age group as follows:

12 for 35-54

8 for 55-59

6 for 60-64

6 for 65+

 

Depended on the number of athletes in attendance there will be the possibility of more than 1 spot available per age group.

A minimum number of athletes must sign up to make division a qualifying division.

The cost is $250. Competitors will receive athlete gear.

Come for the competition, and earn that spot to the Championships!

After completing target calories athlete rests until 3 minute mark, at which point they begin Effort part B.  If athlete does not finish target calories by 3 minute mark, their score will be number of calories completed and they will move immediately onto part B.

Score for part B is time at completion of 10 rounds or number of reps completed.

Tie break time for part A is score from part B.  Tie break for part B is score from part A.

*Rd 1 pull-ups, Rd 2&3 chest to bar, Rd 4&5 bar muscle ups

Score is time completed or number of reps at time cap.  Tiebreak is time at end of third round.

20 REP FRONT SQUAT 

You will have one attempt at this lift. If you are unable to complete all 20 REPS unbroken your score will be your total weight lifted (reps x lbs).  

A completed 20 rep score will beat any partial rep score, regardless of weight. Ex: 20 reps @185 lbs scores higher than 19 reps at 200 lbs.

Offical Rules will be reviewed before event.

This workout opens at 11:00 AM and must be completed by 2:00 PM.

Minute 1:  1 Box Jump + Max Cleans

Minute 2:  2 Box Jumps + Max Cleans

Minute 3:  3 Box Jumps + Max Cleans

Etc...

Score is total cleans completed.

155 / 105 (55+) Any kind of clean - no hang

If athlete fails to complete required box jumps within designated minute workout is over.  Score will be total cleans completed prior to that round of box jumps.
