About This Competition

Canadian Functional Fitness Championship 2021

This is an online Championship to determine who is going to represent Canada in the World Championship 2021 scheduled November 26th-28th, 2021 in Norrkoping, Sweden.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Canadian citizen the age 18 and older (as of December 31, 2021) can register for the competition.

 

REGISTER VIA CFFF REGISTRATION PAGE

You must have a 2021 competitor membership with CFFF, BCFFSA, OFFSA, or FQEFS.

1. Go to the CFFF Registration page. You will be prompted to purchase a Competitor membership if you don't have one yet, and register for the event at the same time.

2. In the confirmation email, you will find the password to log into this Competition Corner event page. Register on the Competition Corner using the SAME EMAIL address that you used for registration. If your Competition Corner account uses a different email address, please contact info@bcfunctionalfitness.org

3. Use the Competition Corner to submit your scores and videos for each test, as well as to download the scoresheets and read the Test descriptions.

4. Any questions should be directed by email to  info@functionalfitnessfederation.ca Please give 24 hours for response.

 

TEST FORMAT

All standard 6 Tests are included in this online qualifier.

The first 3 tests will be completed with a running clock according to the designated time table, and must be done as one attempt. If you wish to attempt multiple times, you must perform all 3 tests as prescribed.

The other 3 tests will be completed in the same manner.

The use of a certified TO is strongly recommended but not required.

All Tests must be video recorded. You must have 1 camera recording the entire duration of each set of the tests with a running clock in the frame.

You also must record each test on another camera in close up for movement and score validation.

When you submit your scores, you must attach a video link that corresponds to the respective test.

The videos that capture the entire duration of the tests must be available upon request.

Please review the videos before submission to ensure that your performance is clearly visible and your entire movement is within the frame all time, as well as your score matches the performance and your movements are up to the movement standards. Failing to meet the requirements may result in a significant penalty in scoring and/or a rejection of submission.
