About This Competition
South Coast Carnage brings to you:
• A same sex pairs, Friday night lights crossfit competition
• A fun filled evening to bring the communities together whilst testing your fitness amognst like minded people with banging tunes!
Our event promises to bring an evening of workouts which will test your fitness, skill levels, technical abilities & strength. All this is of course shared between your pair where communication & strategy is key!
This event has 2 divisions...RX & scaled. RX is designed for those teams who want that extra push with skills, weight & strategic thinking. Scaled is for your everyday CrossFitter, less skills & lighter weights etc
Now our priority for the evening is fun. We want you all to, find new limits, push through current boundaries but above all, enjoy yourselves.
Spectators are free and we welcome pets, but please bare in mind there will be alot of noise / hustle & bustle.
There will be Nocco & water available on the day provided by White cliffs CrossFit.
Parking will be on site at White cliffs crossfit. A map will be put onto instagram account to show exactly where you can park. All parking is free
The safety of all competitors and spectators is essential to us so guidlines & rules will be in place for the day.
Unfortunately we have a no refund policy , but you can use Substitues / push your tickets over to another pair. Please just get hold of us via email or through our Instagram.
(Latest push of tickets / substitutes will be 1 week prior to game day)

Workouts
Workout 3 is an Endurance style event.
For 16 minuntes the team will do:
A Max calorie row
and...
RX:
10 - Shuttle runs
20 - Burpee Boxovers @ 24"/20"
30 - Wallballs 9kg/6kg
40 - Double unders
Scaled:
10 - Shuttle runs
20 - Burpee Boxovers @ 20"/16"
30 - Wallballs @ 6kg/3kg
80 - Single under skips
How it will work - One person must be moving on the rower at all times. Whilst the person is rowing, the other person can complete reps in the chipper part of this workout. If the person rowing stops, reps will not be counted in the chipper.
Both the calories and reps accumulated in the chipper will be combined to create a total for the workout score.
Demos will be given during the breifing.
Power output
PART B is:
A 2 minunte AMRAP of squat cleans. This can be shared however the pair wish.
This is a 'power output' strength test. Scoring will be the weight x reps completed within the 2 minute window.
RX males = 50kg . Scaled males = 40kg
RX females = 35kg . Scaled females = 25kg
Part B - The clean MUST be a squat clean. This means below paralell. We define paralell as the hips falling below the knees. For the majority this means you will need to break a 90 degree angle.
Workout 1 is for total combined weight.
PART A is:
8 minuntes for the team to establish a 1RM clean each.
The 1RM of each person will be combined together to make a total.
PART B is:
A 2 minunte AMRAP of squat cleans. This can be shared however the pair wish.
This is a 'power output' strength test. Scoring will be the weight x reps completed within the 2 minute window.
RX males = 50kg . Scaled males = 40kg
RX females = 35kg . Scaled females = 25kg
There will be a 1minute rest between Part A and Part B.
Part A -
The clean can be any vartiattion. Power, squat, muscle, split. Barbell will start empty prior to '3, 2, 1'.
Part B - The clean MUST be a squat clean. This means below paralell. We define paralell as the hips falling below the knees. For the majority this means you will need to break a 90 degree angle.
Demos of lifting standards will be shown on the day.
Workout 2 is The Sprint.
RX is:
21 - Dumbell Hang snatch @ 22.5/15kg
21 - TTB
15 - Dumbell Snatch @ 22.5kg/15kg
15 - Pullups
9 - Single arm Devils Press @ 22.5kg/15kg
9 - Bar muscle ups
Scaled is:
21 - Dumbell Hang snatch @ 15/10kg
21 - Knee raises
15 - Dumbell snatch @ 15/10kg
15 - ring rows
9 - Single arm Devils Press @ 15/10kg
9 - Jumping bar muscle ups (from box)
This workout is for time with an 8 minute time cap.
Scoring is faster is better or the most reps within the time cap.
We can accomodate other scaling options, please ask us on the day.
