The Riptide Classic 2025
About This Competition
The Riptide Classic 2025 is the 3rd annual 2 person team functional fitness competition open exclusively to Polk County affiliated athletes. This fun, one day competition will be held at CrossFit WaterSide in Winter Haven, FL. This year we have added an intermediate division to meet our athletes requests, we will still have our traditional M/M, F/F and coed options for Rx and scaled as well. Our competition is designed with the new competitor in mind as well as the seasoned weekend warrior. Our goal is to promote camraderie and community while having a great time throwing down. Grab a friend and build your super team, make sure to register early as there will be a limited number of spots per division.
Registration Fee Schedule:
January 2 - February 28: $150/team + processing fee
February 29 - May 2: $180/team + processing fee
Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 2 persons, 3 workouts + 1 floater, an exclusive T-shirt and prizes for the podium winners. Additionally, each Rx division team winner will recieve a CASH PRIZE on site.
9 Divisions:
- M/M, F/F, coed Rx
- M/M, F/F, coed intermediate
- M/M, F/F, coed Scaled
Mixed pars will have combined standards based on movements, weight adjustments and setup availability.
Photo Package:
Jay Knickerbocker will be onsite taking professional pictures for those teams registered. Click the link below for Early Bird registrations.
Refund Policy:
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE. Should you not be able to participate due to injury or other unforeseeable circumstances, registration can be transferred, email info@crossfitwaterside.com to do so.

All coed teams will use the women’s wallball height and weight.
