Do More Charity Challenge
About This Competition
Welcome to Do More Charity Challenge!
The 2023 NBH Bank Do More Charity Challenge® presented by Bank Midwest will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at official CrossFit® affiliate gym, Meshugge CrossFit.
This year we will offer 2 divisions – RX/Competitive and Scaled/Recreational – to provide greater opportunity to benefit more non-profit organizations in our communities. Push yourself to the limits against fellow RX athletes in the competitive RX Division. For non-RX athletes, register for the Scaled Division to compete at a recreational level for your charity of choice. The Do More Charity Challenge is powered by you, so put your passion for physical fitness and your passion for charity to work.
GATHER YOUR PEEPS: Teams of 4 (2 males + 2 females).
CHOOSE YOUR CHARITY: At registration please include the charity who are competing. We will update with Greater Horizons, our non-profit partner who distributes the prize pool.
FUNDRAISE: Raise any amount of money and you earn reps (points) for your team before comp day. One WOD will be "Fundraising", the money your team raises for your specific charity is in addition to any money won from the prize pool. There are some fun, creative ways to raise money for your charity including silent auctions, garage sales, car washes, etc. There are no restrictions on how you raise your money
COMPETITION: 5 WODs; 6 event scores + 1 fundraising event
PRIZE POOL: The prize pool is split between the teams based on final comp rankings. Every team that completes the event will take home a portion of the prize pool for their charity!
If you have any questions, please reach out to calebs@thejkc.org for assistance.

Using a 12-minute EMOM clock, one athlete works during the minute, each athlete will have 3 one-minute time durations to establish a 2-rep max bench press.
Weight can be added or taken off the 45# bar anytime.
Athletes must declare to the judge the weight they are attempting to lift prior to the bench press.
If the bar is off the rack before the next minute begins, the athlete may complete their lift.
Athletes may be spotted by a teammate but if the bar is touched in any way by the spotter prior to the judge confirming a good rep, the rep is no good.
