Workouts

For Time

  • 150 yrd swim
  • 25 wall balls
  • 100 yrd swim
  • 50 wall balls
  • 50 yrd swim
  • 75 wall balls

RX: 25/20 SC: 20/14

Time Cap: 12 minutes

Notes:

  • Partners will begin together in their designated swim lanes
  • On go, one partner will enter the pool and begin working on the 150yrd swim.
  • 1swim rep is complete when a swimmer completes at least a 50yrd swim (up and back). All swim attempts must be completed in 50yrd increments for safety and workout flow.
  • Non-adaptive athletes must exit the pool after each swim and re-enter the pool to start every attempt. Non-adaptive athletes must exit by their own strength or with the help of their partner and may not use the pool ladders (if avaialbe in their lane). Exceptions will be made for adaptive athletes on a per-need basis.
  • Athletes may stop to rest at any time during a swim attempt, however, athletes may not propell themselves forward during/after stoping (ie. walking forward, pulling along the walls/lane lines, jumping forward off the bottome of the pool). The only exception is if you stop at an end wall, you may push yourself off the wall to restart after resting.
  • Once the event starts, the non working partner can be anywhere on the competition floor. (This means the non-working athlete may wait at the wallball station to begin the wallballs while the working partner is swimming.) This is for safety. It is to help reduce the need to run between stations and to keep the pool deck clear.
  • The non-working athlete may not hold the med balls until the swim is completed (The athlete touches the wall on the final swim lap of each set). The first wallball of every set must start from the ground.
  • Drying the med balls is permitted and encouraged. We recommend each partner brings at least two towels; One for you, one for the ball.
  • Score is time the final wall ball is completed (the ball hits the target) or reps completed at 15 minute time cap.

  • KB C&J are performed from a hang/with a swing. The sandbag must pass over the shoulder with full hip extension.
  • During the carry portion, partners must stay together and walk single file to avoid blocking the path. Partners may rest at any time during the carry, but resting partners must make an effort to keep path clear for competitors (step off path/move to the side). Any effort to block the path or obstruct competitors will result in an automatic DNF. This is for the safety of all competitors.
