Team Edwards Squadron Throwdown - 2025
About This Competition
Team Edwards, get ready for the second Annual Team Edwards Squadron Throwdown coming June 6, 2025!
This event will pit teams against each other in a T.E.S.T of their physical strength, endurance and grit to determine the fittest squadron. Do you think your team has the "right stuff?"
Rules of Engagement:
- Squadron Team can consist of MILITARY, CIVILIAN and CONTRACTORS.
- 4 members will make up the COMPETITION team with at least 1 member of the opposite sex.
- Each team may ADD 2 OPTIONAL team members to serve ONLY as permanent replacement in the event of injury or unavailability.
- Team will be disqualified if 4 members (with at least 1 member of the opposite sex) are not able to progress to the next workout.
- Team members will only represent ONE SQUADRON. If you choose team members with affiliations with other squadrons, only one squadron can be represented.
- all workouts will be released to competitors 4 weeks prior to event but written standards of movement and video instructions for standards of movement can be found here.
- Winning Squadron will hold custom TEST trophy until the next annual competition.
- Dont want to compete? There will be fitness events hosted by FSS throughout the May fitness month and overall winners can represent their squadron. The squadron with the most overall wins in the month of May will be given upset points to their TEST team the day of the competition!

Workouts
Basketbal Tourney
Volleyball Tourney
Standard 10K route. Winnerbased on number of participatns from each squadron
* Clean & Jerk can be either Power or Squat. Full extension must be performed
before the jerk.
* Squat Clean must be caught in a squat or moving into a squat.
* Only one athlete works at a time.
* On coming athlete must complete 2 burpees over the bar before complex.
* Jump or step over is ok, both feet cannot be touching the oor at the same time.
* Teams can go in any order.
* Athletes must complete as many unbroken rounds as possible before switching.
* Once the barbell is dropped or the complex is broken, the next athlete must take over.
* Resting or re-gripping at the bottom of a rep is considered a broken round.
* If an athlete breaks the complex, that round does not count.
Score: Winner is based o the total completed rounds of the complex.
Workout Details:
* Each team of four is divided into two pairs: Group A and Group B.
* Groups must complete their assigned portion of the workout before
moving on to the synchronized ball tap push-ups.
* Start with chest on the oor. Count is when all team members touchs the ball
at the same time. Hand placement does not matter.
* Once the push-ups are completed, groups will switch sides and
repeat the opposite workout.
Score: Fastest total time to complete the workout.
* Each team starts in a designated team square on the arena oor.
* The run path is marked from one end of the oor to the other.
* One athlete at a time is able to work.
* Each athlete must complete the full workout before the next athlete starts.
Score: Fastest total time
* Work together to ip the tire to its destination.
* The whole tire must past the check point line.
* NO PUSHING or SLIDING the tire
* Team must behind the check point line before starting the run back
to the nish line.
Score: Fastest time
In the event of a tie, this challenge will determin the tie breaker of T.E.S.T.
