7 minutes to build to a
1 Rep Max Clean

Workout Notes

  • From the 0:00-7:00 on the running clock
  • Teammates share 1 barbell
  • Teammates can help each other load and change weights
  • Teammates do not have the lift the same weight
  • Teammates can take turns or alternate reps however they’d like
  • Athletes can take as many attempts as they would like in the 7 minutes
  • Weight can be changed up or down
  • Collars are not required
  • Barbell must be evenly loaded
  • Barbell will start loaded with weight of your choice for your first attempt
  • The entire lift must be completed before the clock shows 7:00 for the lift to count
  • Score is sum of each teammate’s heaviest successful lift

6 Minute Max Calorie Row and Bike
1 person Rows while the other Bikes, switch every minute
*2 scores for this event, one for total Row calories, 1 for total Bike Calories

Workout Notes

  • Workout begins 2 minutes after Event 3, at the 44:00 mark on the clock
  • Athletes start seated on their cardio machine, one athlete on the rower and one on the bike
  • They will accrue calories for a full minute, then at the call of switch they will switch places
  • Monitors will not be reset during the switch, they will continue to count up continuously
  • All athletes in all divisions will complete the same workout
  • There are two scores for this event, one is total Row Calories and one is Total Bike Calories

6 Minute Max Calorie Row and Bike

  • Athletes move through ladder down style, completing 10 reps of every movement, 9 reps of every movement, 8 of each...7,6,5,4,3,2,1.
  • Score is time to complete

Workout Notes

  • Workout begins 4 minutes after Halo Games Event 2, at the 28:00 mark on the clock
  • Workout time cap is at the 42:00 mark on the clock
  • Barbell will be loaded and Halo set up during the 4:00 rest after Event 2
  • Partner #1 will complete a full round while Partner #2 rests, then switch.
  • When Partner #1 completes the final rep of Shoulder to Overhead, they will tag Partner #2 to begin their round.
  • Each partner will complete 5 rounds.
  • Strict Press, Push Press, or Push jerk are all allowed for Shoulder to Overhead
  • Score is time to complete
