Part A - 1000 Meter Row

Time Cap: 14 Minutes

Flow of Workout

The athlete will start on the rower, hands off the paddle until the clock starts. They will continue to row until the rower reads 1000 meters, no rolling meters will count.

Flow of Workout

The athlete will then move on from the rower, in the time remaining they will complete as many rounds and reps as possible of the triplet until the 14 minute clock concludes.

On a 9 Minute Total Clock -

2 Minute Warm Up & 7 Minutes to Establish a Max Load of -

3 Rep Max Thruster

The lifts may be completed in any order – see Event 2 (B)

Must utilize a 45lb barbell with clips

Female Standards

Must utilize a 35lb barbell with clips


Scoring Standards

Part A / Score One – heaviest successful lift for the 3 rep max thruster


Flow of Workout

The workout will start with a 2 minute warm up, where the athlete has an opportunity to put some weight on the barbell and warm up to their working weight. The athlete can complete the 3 rep max thruster first, then move onto the 5 rep max deadlift (or vice versa). Successful lift attempts will only start / be judged once the 7 minute working clock has started. Both lifts (thruster and deadlift maxes) must be completed by the conclusion of the 7 minute clock to count as a final score.

Final score is time completed.

If the athlete does not finish, it is the time cap + reps remaining.

Tentatively, 50 meters = 1 rep (subject to change).


Flow of Workout

The athlete will start behind the marked line and will only cross the line once the clock starts. The athlete will run one mile, which will be broken down into 4x 400 meter runs. The athlete will run from the starting line to the 400 meter mark, back to the start line back out to the 400 meter mark, etc, until 4 relays are complete.

Scoring Standards

Final score is the total completed reps of the final round containing the rep scheme of 6 front squats & 6 of the pull-up variation (based on division).


Flow of Workout

The athlete starts with two rounds to complete of a couplet, moving onto two rounds of a different couplet essentially as “buy-in” rounds. These reps do not count in the overall scoring of the workout. Once the first four rounds are completed, in the time remaining they will work to accumulate max reps of the last couplet for a final score.

Scoring Standards

Final score is time completed.

If the athlete does not finish, it is the time cap + reps remaining.

Every 5 ft = 1 rep for handstand walk or bear crawl.


Flow of Workout

The athlete will begin the couplet with overhead squats, moving into the bar-facing burpees. Once the first round of 18 reps is completed, athletes will complete either the handstand walk or bear crawl to move onto the next round of 14 reps. Once the 14 reps are completed, they will complete either the handstand walk or bear crawl to move onto the final round of 10 reps. Once the 10 reps is completed, the time completed is taken by the judge.
