Triple Strength
Same sex teams of 3.
Your chance to test your strengths over a variety of lifts.
The day will comprise of 3 different lifts (Olympic, compound, power etc), tested under varying conditions (think MAX lifts, ladders, complexes, MAX reps etc.).
Each team member will participate in 2 of the lifts, so team tactics are crucial to ensure you play to your strengths.

Workouts
CLEAN LADDER
Elimination style clean ladder.
Weights will increase at predetermined intervals (starting female weight 35kg, starting male weight 50kg).
Athletes will lift within a 45 second interval on a rolling clock.
Any clean variation is permitted.
Athletes are permitted to 'pass' on up to 3 weights.
Each athlete will record a score.
SNATCH COMPLEX
Athletes will have 12 minutes to record a maximum lift for the following complex:
2 SNATCH + 1 HANG SNATCH + 2 OVERHEAD SQUATS
Any snatch variation is permitted.
Only 1 athlete lifting at a time.
Bar weight can be increased/decreased as required during the timecap.
AMRAP THRUSTERS
Teams have 4 minutes to complete as many thrusters as possible.
1 athlete lifting at a time.
Teams will determine the bar weight and scores will be for total power output (weight x reps).
At the completion of the AMRAP, there will be a 1 minute rest before Lift 3B starts.
1RM THRUSTER
Teams have 5 minutes to record a maximum weight for a single thruster.
1 athlete lifting at a time.
Bar weight can be increased/decreased as required.
Clusters are permitted.
