About This Competition
2023 MAJOR LEAGUE ONLINE QUALIFIER DATES:
20th January – ML23.1 (Release 4.30PM AEDT – Submit Scores 26th January 11.59PM AEDT)
27th January– ML23.2 (Release 4.30PM AEDT – Submit Scores 2nd February 11.59PM AEDT)
3rd February – ML23.3 (Release 4.30PM AEDT – Submit Scores 9th February 11.59PM AEDT)
10th February - ML23.4 (Realease 4.30PM AEDT - Submit Scores 16th February 11.59PM AEDT)
Registration Will Be Open Until the 26th January 2023 11:59PM AEDT
Major League Athlete Age Categories Are: 8-10, 11-13, 14&15, 16-19 , 20-29 , 30-34
AGE ELIGIBILITY: If you are 29 turning 30 before October 31st 2023 you are eligible for the 30-34 Age Category. This concept is also for those deciding which age category to choose.
DIVISIONS: When you register you are required to enter as a Hurricane (Beginner), Spitfire (Intermediate), Mustang (Advanced) or Super League, depending on your ability. See website for standards.
Four open workouts will be released, you will be given one week to complete each of these workouts (so four weeks in total) at your own affiliate, gym or training facility, movement standards will be provided and you will need your workout judged and verified by a coach or certified judge.
You can perform each workout as many times as you like during the allocated one week and when you submit your verified score you will be able to track yourself on the leaderboard alongside all of the other athletes in your division and across your state , country and internationally.
Leaderboard: Each individual athlete will be able to track their ranking on our live Major League Open leaderboard which can also be found on our website - www.majorleaguegames.com.au
THE ROAD TO THE MAJOR LEAGUE GAMES
The season is broken up into Two Stages:
Stage One - Major League Online Qualifier
This is a four week, four workout competition that is held in affiliates, local and garage gyms around the world. Workouts are released online each Friday, and athletes have until the following Thursday to submit their scores. Anyone who’s 8-34 years old can Register and join in the first stage of the Major League season.
NOTE: ALL ATHLETES ARE REQUIRED TO VIDEO THEIR WORKOUTS BUT NOT REQUIRED WHEN SUBMITTING THEIR SCORES. IF YOUR SCORE LOOKS QUESTIONABLE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THAT VIDEO & IT WILL BE VERIFIED BY ONE OF THE MAJOR LEAGUE JUDGES.
Stage Two - MAJOR LEAGUE GAMES
The top 5* athletes from each age group, division and State from the Major League Online Qualifier will qualify for the Major League Games , where they will go head to head in the Major League Games Finals.
