About This Competition

The 2024 Fortius North Bloom and Burn will be a TEAM competition. With great workouts testing every facet of ability - with workouts long enough to get your money's worth!

This competition is designed for intermediate and Rx level CrossFitters only. If you are an advanced, semifinals, or above level - please register for our Fall competition where we will have Advanced and Elite levels!

There will be 3 divisions: Intermediate, RX, Masters*
There will be 3 categories: M/M, F/F, M/F

***There will be a Masters division as well (M/M or F/F, if at least 3 teams sign up in each one), combined age of both athletes must be over 75.***

Programming provided by Head Competition Team Coach Daimino Stewart of Linear Progression. Designed to ensure each division has clear skill definition to avoid "sandbagging" as much as possible.

There will be 3 events and 1 floater, spread out throughout the day!

Line Facing Burpees
Single Arm DB Overhead Lunges (Per Leg)

*Partner Front Rack Hold

Int: 35/25, 95/65

Work Flow:
Athlete 1: Complete 15 Burpees + 15/15 Lunges while Athlete 2 Holds A Front Rack
Then…
Athlete 2: Complete 15 Burpees + 15/15 Lunges while Athlete 1 Holds A Front Rack
Etc.

Floater:

4 Minute AMRAP
5 Cal Ski Erg
50’ Farmers Walk (DBs in Each Hand)
5 D-ball Cleans over Shoulder
5 KB Snatches (R)
5 KB Snatches (L)

*Partners alternate each movement, must tag partner between movements (I.e. Partner 1 does 5 cal Ski, Partner 2 does Farmers Walk, Partner 1 does D-Ball cleans, Partner 2 does KB Snatches (R) etc.). You must reset Ski Erg yourself
